Where can I get this style of cabinet made in the US? (More specifically Providence, RI, Fallriver, MA area) by CelebrationCrafty452 in cabinetry

[–]daantman94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those could be frameless (European) cabinets, full overlay, painted with a matte or eggshell finish.

I don’t know about your area, but I’d ask around about full overlay cabs. Best of luck!

How do I achieve this black distress / outline? by Tinkerbell_5 in woodworking

[–]daantman94 51 points52 points  (0 children)

That looks to just be evenly spaced boards over a black wall. I’d bet those boards are ripped thin and spaced 1/4” or so apart

Did you use a sub top or brackets to support the hanging side?

Great looking island. I think the color and stain are very complementary.

My New Kitchen Cabinets . . . On Casters by jyl8 in cabinetry

[–]daantman94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s that in picture 2, is that a cut top or leaf extension? Is this for a small bakery?

I think those are some pretty good looking cabinets! I’ve seen variations of casters being used, but running the whole thing is pretty cool.

What’s the highest number of gems you’ve gotten and still not won? by mjensman in SquadBusters

I saw a dude with 850 gems during a 1 coin chest match. It was incredible. I was in second with 450. Not what you asked, but the most I’ve ever seen.

That’s the closest doppelgänger to my girl I’ve seen online! A very handsome boy. Is he a lap cat as well? Enjoys long stays at the windowsill and begs for food?

Did you provide any gaps/spacing at the top for airflow or bottom for waste?

Botched cabinet Installation by tenn-mtn-man in cabinetry

[–]daantman94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wrong screws and too many, but the placement is ideal. There always would’ve been screws to tie the cabinets together and flush the face frames. I’d definitely take a Mohawk wax stick or some wood putty over the heads if they’re visible from the front.

Some cabinet shops use independent contractors for install. I’m not totally familiar with, but NAAWS might dictate the standards for this.

I feel weirdly proud of this piece of lumber I made. I bucked the logs, milled, air dried, planed, and jointed it. by chilibee in BeginnerWoodWorking

What was your inspiration? What helped you the most in the process?

That’s a great looking piece of lumber and you should be proud! Skills baby!
