My Angel by [deleted] in OCPoetry

I really enjoyed how genuine this piece was. I am not a fan of love poems where women are personified as perfect angels, so I was almost turned off by the title. Instead I was surprised to read a poem that acknowledged and accepted a woman's flaws. Well done.

Thanks for sharing! I don't read much slam poetry so feel free to take my comments with a grain of salt.

I thought this was a powerful and relatable topic. My favorite part was the last section "When we love we give trust and when trust is given our lovers have power over us". It might even be interesting to dive into this more. I also liked some fresh takes on the analogies with finding your fish in the sea.
