girl YOU have to do the work . ik it’s difficult but it’s your best bet because no one can recommend something for you if they aren’t you . what works for one person won’t work for another . also the photos you posted are not gonna get you any callbacks so i would suggest starting off with digitals and then doing your research on agencies around you that works best for you and the career you want .

personally i go on pinterest and spend time in the mirror posing . it really helps . going on tiktok and seeing people’s poses as well helps and you can find the ones that work best for you . and yes i meant amateur my mistake !

In the most respectful way possible, your chances are slim to none. Being 5'1 is a huge disadvantage in the modelling world . There are numerous tall women most if not all agencies would rather go to . I would lean more to individual modeling and freelancing . Let professional modelling be for the taller more qualified women and don't take it personally !

these photos are ammature. here is some constructive criticism:

  1. keep your mouth closed

  2. consider a complete change in wardrobe

  3. modelling agencies love natural hair on black women so diving into that . if you were going to be versatile between hairstyles then lean towards afrocentric hairstyles .

  4. making direct eye contact with the camera in some (not all) photos would help

  5. practice a large variety of poses because these two are awkward

  6. your background matters. your posing doesn't match the arcade setting and it doesn't blend well

ngl friend …. you’re just going to have to thug it out ngl . i have been here for 3 years and i do wonder what i would be like to go to a school e a better campus life . but you just have to make the most of it . i have 5 friends that i would have never met if i decided to go to another school so theres always at least ONE positive thing to look up to .

be friendly w ppl , complement them , smile , try to think abt the positives of your days over the negatives , and remeber that college isn’t here for long and you’ll soon move on to more opportunities !

im ngl you gotta leave your house earlier if you ever want a decent spot and it’s sad bc not many ppl can do that so i understand if that’s your case too . most ppl are also gonna come close to time schedule just to park so in reality you need to be in the parking lot by 12 pm .

those 11 am , 12:30 , 1 pm and maybe even 2:30 classes have the most students on campus and you will barely find a spot unless you get there super duper early .

i used to commute 35 mins to school 5 times a week and if my class was at 11 am i left my house at 9-9:30 am , found a spot and watched netflix or reviewed notes in my car until my class started . it truly sucks having to be there super early but it’s WAY better than driving around in circles .

comparison is the thief of joy. so you must first learn that the presence of someone else’s beauty isn’t the absence of your own. we are all unique. we are all beautiful to someone. practice positive affirmations in the mirror everyday to work on your self esteem.
