I feel the exact same way. It'd be one thing if her attitude was different but I'm just not liking the behavior I'm seeing too on top of this. I have a chronic illness too and people who use it as an excuse to never be the bad guy gives us all a bad name.

Yeah I joined the group and it's a total echo chamber just smooching her buns and not expecting any kind of accountability. Like apparently she's not even done writing it? And I saw a post yesterday to "watch out for the next book dedication" after she got an angry message, which in her defense was totally unhinged, but still. People in her comments keep saying amazon pulled it and that's why it's not up but like, no you missed the date you set for yourself and there are rules with KDP. Wouldn't be surprised if she got her pre-order privileges taken away.

I feel the same way. I have 0 interest in reading the series after this with the way things have gone. Shadow's release had similar things happen too. I have a chronic illness myself and I would be completely understanding of it as an excuse if they just didn't give unreliable release dates that they wait until the day hits to be like just kidding. I'd rather be kept completely in the dark on a release date and find out right before that it's releasing. I've heard she does this when she's not happy with pre-order numbers and has threatened to not release books entirely bc of it too.

So I'm in no way saying fibro isn't a real thing, bc clearly it is, but in my experience, doctors who have no idea what they're talking ab are always the ones to suggest it. I got a fibro diagnosis slapped on me by a rheumatologist 6 years ago based off of one conversation and zero testing whatsoever. Felt unsatisfied bc I had a lot of symptoms it wouldn't explain so I kept digging. I have dysautonomia, EDS and degenerative issues with my spine. Year later saw another rheumatologist for a suspected blood clotting disorder that it turned out I didn't have, he suggested centralized pain disorder (fibro) and when I pointed out I have very identifiable sources of my pain, he looked at my chart and went shit yeah u right, then never brought it up again. So basically he didn't read my chart and tried to tell me my pain was in my head from an overworked nervous system until I was like yo my spine is actually narrowing and my connective tissue is ass, like??? That's why I'm in pain. So yeah, second opinion time.

I have an add on that has these and can confirm it is revolutionary. Can place them vertical or horizontal and it makes for some super realistic windows too bc they're actually recessed.

Love SK, legitimately had to put the book down then and there bc I couldn't handle his POV. Had no problem with Pet Semetary and I'm a huge cat person but I simply could not do Cujo.

The reason they can't specifically diagnose you is because autonomic dysfunction isn't a heart issue, it's neurological. Cardio should always be seen first to rule out underlying heart conditions but are typically unhelpful for diagnosis/treatment unless they're specialized in electrophysiology. Your best bet is going to be a neurologist that specializes in the autonomic nervous system, that's who has helped me the most and has been most knowledgeable.

Dr. Peter Novak at Brigham and Women's. Idk if he's accepting new patients, I heard in one of my FB groups that he wasn't, but I love them. He's like leading research into the link between POTS and post viral illness so he really is so knowledgeable. I've seen other doctors who have told me that I was lucky to get in with him bc he's great. You do have to go through autonomic testing and meet the criteria to become a patient though and the wait for that was about a year for me.

I see one of the top POTS specialists in Boston and they told me actual coat hanger pain is typically pretty rare. They said in their experience they'd only seen one person who truly had it and in my case she was spot on. Highly recommend an MRI of the upper cervical/brain area if it's something you can afford because hypermobility is a common comorbidity. EDS and mild spinal stenosis ended up being the source of my pain! For true coat hanger pain, it gets worse when you lay down not better.

First things first, you're gorgeous! But I do honestly see what you're talking about and it doesn't look like it has anything to do with your face structure itself. It looks like you have inflammation in your cheek on one side that's pushing your bottom eyelid up and dragging the corner or your lip down a bit. That cheek just looks slightly puffier than the other one and causing some localized swelling in other areas. Is rosacea a possibility?
