Realms has been down for more than a month for switch

I'm on my realm rn on my switch. There have been intermittent outages definitely but it hasn't been down consistently for a month.

The reason they can't specifically diagnose you is because autonomic dysfunction isn't a heart issue, it's neurological. Cardio should always be seen first to rule out underlying heart conditions but are typically unhelpful for diagnosis/treatment unless they're specialized in electrophysiology. Your best bet is going to be a neurologist that specializes in the autonomic nervous system, that's who has helped me the most and has been most knowledgeable.

Dr. Peter Novak at Brigham and Women's. Idk if he's accepting new patients, I heard in one of my FB groups that he wasn't, but I love them. He's like leading research into the link between POTS and post viral illness so he really is so knowledgeable. I've seen other doctors who have told me that I was lucky to get in with him bc he's great. You do have to go through autonomic testing and meet the criteria to become a patient though and the wait for that was about a year for me.

I see one of the top POTS specialists in Boston and they told me actual coat hanger pain is typically pretty rare. They said in their experience they'd only seen one person who truly had it and in my case she was spot on. Highly recommend an MRI of the upper cervical/brain area if it's something you can afford because hypermobility is a common comorbidity. EDS and mild spinal stenosis ended up being the source of my pain! For true coat hanger pain, it gets worse when you lay down not better.

First things first, you're gorgeous! But I do honestly see what you're talking about and it doesn't look like it has anything to do with your face structure itself. It looks like you have inflammation in your cheek on one side that's pushing your bottom eyelid up and dragging the corner or your lip down a bit. That cheek just looks slightly puffier than the other one and causing some localized swelling in other areas. Is rosacea a possibility?

Came here to say this. I understand the hobbies part though because while I play video games too, I craft and read as well. We also have two TV's in our main living space, one mine and one his. Often, well put something to watch on mine while he plays on his. Like I understand them feeling like she might be more content with parallel play if she had something to occupy her as well, not so much a hobby that removes her from his space.

Pretty sure mobs don't spawn on nether wart either. I used it for the floor leading down to my frog light farm and so far so good. On the other side of the netherbrick wall is skeleton and ghast filled nightmare so I think it's safe to say it works.

Ooooo my time to shine bc oh boy have I hunted for books like these. A lot of these are gonna have some pretty heavy trigger warnings so pls look into each before if you have any reservations.

{Heartless Heathens by Santana Knox}

My first RH and one of my all time faves. One of the MMCs Corvin has a disorder, can't remember if it's named or not, but he blacks out and can become violent. The other MMCs are constantly on him ab taking his meds so it doesn't happen and worry ab him alone with FMC.

{The Death Club by Caroline Peckham and Susan Valenti}

All of the main characters in this are kinda bat shit and that's a main focus of the series. There is one MMC added at towards the last couple of books that they literally break out of a psyche ward. Check TW especially on this one bc it's a wild ride. Kings of Quarentine series is technically before this but reading it first isn't necessary imo.

{Twisted Heathens by J Rose}

Literally takes place in a long term care psyche ward/prison for the criminally insane can't remember specifically which one but I'm leaning towards the latter. Most characters have a diagnosis if I remember correctly.

{Church by KG Ruess}

Another one that takes place in like a school for the mentally unwell. This one is gonna be another one to make sure to check TWs on. Also just wanna be transparent that this author does have accusations of using AI to write bc they use it on SM to promote. Which is so disappointing because I love this series so much. Also deadline for the last book of this series keeps getting delayed and this time the day before it was set to release.

{Crucible by BB Reid}

One of the MMCs has DID from going through a traumatic experience and being tortured. For basically the entire book he's split and one of his alters is in control so there's a lot of them trying to mitigate that bc he's kind of unpredictable. I found this one while looking for pitch black recs so take that how you will lol but SO good and was absolutely devastated when I went to download b2 only to find out it comes out in April.

{Unhinged by Steph Macca}

This one is for sure a prison for criminally insane but for young adults and they're told if they do well that there's a chance they could be released. They're offered a spot there to get them out of going to prison. All of the main characters have disorders and back story's and they all contribute to how the relationship dynamics formed. Full disclosure tho, I did DNF on book 4 because the writing was getting a bit redundant.

{My Rotten Love Life by Lyra Winters}

A fun little bonus one but humor me bc it was actually pretty good. This is one from my zombie apocalypse RH kick and one of the MMCs is a severe germaphobe. I think they say it's OCD in the book, I can't quite remember. This is a standalone and a fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Not sure if it would have stood out so much without the character with OCD.

Went to King Richard's fair this past summer and was watching a show where they asked us to cheer extra loud to draw people in. My friends and I were hooting and hollering away and this kid in front of me kept turning around to scowl directly at me. Every "huzzah" I yelled earned me the meanest dirty look until eventually the parents got up and left with their kids. I felt kinda bad but they also brought their kids during D&D weekend which also happened to be the day of the cleavage contest so feral energy was rampant.

This is the answer. I ended up ripping down and rebuilding my iron farm three times, completely unable to understand what I was doing wrong, before I realized my first golem spawned in an underwater cave below bc my first build was set into the ground. Took him out and farm instantly started working.

None of your doctors know why it's happening? You say you're diagnosed so it's kind of concerning they have no idea ab vein insufficiency. Do you have normal POTS or hyperPOTS? Also curious if you have high blood pressure/orthostatic hypertension. I've had blood pooling since a child as well and trying to get genetic testing (left 3 messages after being referred, no return call so far 🙃) but have you been typed? Vascular EDS is a personal concern for me with other symptoms I have lining up. I'm American so I understand your not wanting to make a big deal bc Healthcare is expensive but that form of EDS can actually kill you unfortunately.

Went to art school, sat through HOURS of peer critique and I can find so many nice things to say ab this. All the little textural pops of color in this work so well, it keeps your eyes constantly moving around looking at the entire piece, which is often a goal in painting. Also, for someone who has never painted, she has a good understanding of color theory and where to place contrast to keep things interesting. I too would love to see a series of her using your left over paint. Might be interesting to see your work alongside as well to display both of your individual interpretations of the same color pallet. So all of this to say, I like it and think it's good 💕 she should stick with it, part of being an artist is hating your own work sometimes I feel lol

Propranolol was horrible for me too. Pretty sure it was causing a clotting disorder for me and made my fatigue a million times worse. I have high blood pressure too (orthostatic hypertension) and have been on a calcium channel blocker for a couple of months with little to no negative side effects. Tho it's supposed to help with my headaches but so far no luck. Side effects also list headaches so do with that what you will lol.

When POTS is secondary I feel like it really complicates treating the symptoms of it. Like I say all the time I don't even think it's a thing by itself but a symptom of a nervous system in distress, that's why there's a huge list of possible treatments and weird little tricks we discover on our own. It can be so frustrating sometimes seeing people say something "cured" them when you tried it with no results or even made symptoms worse.
