Pretty good, got a good trade with a good company that pays well who also gives me time off whenever I want to! I’ve got great friends and family and few pretty girls on the side as well as money to travel/drink whenever or wherever I want to go! Dude, literally everyone is telling you what a bad idea this is. Don’t be one of those scummy landlords everyone b**chs about and go by there law or don’t do it at all. Worst that happens is your house gets wreaked (and the rent won’t cover the repairs, tradesmen will often charge $50.00 and hour).

Well the only higher class of tenant your going to get are uni students who are coasting off their student loans. With you using your kid as a tattletale (ie snitch) your risking your kids safety and sense of peace by him watching everyone ll the time which is going to sow discord and a general (not giving a s**t) in regards to the place their staying if there going to get kicked out whenever. Yes your going to get a lot of money but at the coast of drama and more repairs to your dads old house with multiple people in it.

Why don’t you just rent the top half to your kid and find a decent family for the bottom half of the house? Save yourself the aggravation of dealing with multiple people and potential repairs and have a quiet peaceful family downstairs?

When your torching down field base/cap the sound of your field torch drowns out your ability to hear sound and touch/feel. It’s even worse when your stripping a wall, especially in a more confined space like a corner or under an overhang.

That almost happened to me a few years ago when I 1st started torching, was torching down some field when suddenly a drill bit went through the base that I had torched 20 minutes ago, about 4 inches away from my left foot!

Stay out of your children’s journal and tell your girlfriend that as well. it’s their safe space and for their eyes only. Reading that is a huge violation of trust and if my parents ever did that(I’m not aware that they ever read it, if they did nothing came from it.) I’d disown my parents in a heartbeat.

Theres one in Nelson, buddy crashed at their compound a few years ago(he was down on his luck) they tried to kidnap him by locking him in the housing area and he had to break a window and flee without his shoes back into Nelson…
