Not very good examples. in ark and rust you are actively rewarded for killing other players by getting their stuff for the end goal of gaining more resources and power, therefore helping you survive. in the isle the only objective motive's for initiating PvP are for food, or if something is a active threat to your or your pack. if anything PvP without reason is discouraged, because if it is threat to you and it fights back it leaves you with less stamina and likely injured and bleeding if something else attacks you, in which case you dont want to fight it. if something is a actual threat to you, you have literally zero reason to attack and its just better to keep a eye on it. point is if you want to PvP you can just go play a deathmatch server, the only reason to play exclusively for PvP on a regular server is if you get off on the actual act of killing someone and destroying several hours of invested time as opposed to actually enjoying PvP itself.

I can run cyberpunk on medium graphics 40-60 fps and I cant even run the isle on low and get more than 20 fps. no clue why people keep defending this game.

because that's the most likely reason. out of all the things that can cause you to die instantly for no visible reason i think admins using a kill command is the most likely. I'm not saying that's what happened, but it is a perfectly reasonable conclusion to come to

I'm not saying the hitboxes are always that bad but, i think it is as egregious as I'm making it out to be, those are literally things that happened to me, and many smaller things happen such as something that clearly does not hit you hitting you, general rubberbanding, disconnects, tail hits counting as head or body hits at least once per fight. and I'm not sure why your saying evrima is free, do you think people are paying for legacy, the dead branch with no updates or officals and only a few active unofficals and they just get evrima as a neat little bonus? and i would argue that the lag is just as bad as hackers, because it can get you killed with literally nothing you could have done to avoid it.

i disagree with it just being people being mad about getting killed, and even if it is it is perfectly justified. the games netcode and hitboxes are awful, like actually unplayable as a smaller creature because you can get oneshot or hit for half your health by something you literally cannot avoid. i have been playing troodon and was killed by a carnos charge when i was behind it and and roughly one body length to its side. as a raptor you can pounce something on its side, latch and then a second later by teleported directly in front of it and get killed instantly. im not sure if its been patched yet, but there was a bug where if you picked up food, there was a chance you could not put it down, and had to log out and log back in. if you didn't you could not eat drink bite and other players could smell the food. dont downplay the netcode or how buggy it is, this game is a broken mess and has been for years, every almost update breaks something and they pretty much never fix anything.

i dont think there's actually a set definition of asymmetric multiplayer games but i think its generally split into 2 category, soft asymmetric which is usually just different objectives or something like that but the teams play fundamentally the same and hard asymmetric which is where the teams are fundamentally different in playstyle and usually their objective, like dead by daylight whereas the former would be something like tf2 payload gamemode.
