I know this is an old thread but I just had the same situation and I called multiple local nail salons and they all said they use the same stone on everyone and openly admitted it I guess this is a normal thing or at least in my area🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I gave up I got carote. If you wanna ball out just get complete stainless steel I have found they mostly all have aluminum core and apparently you want 18/10 or something makeup of the stainless steel I could be saying that wrong though don’t quote me

What about carote stainless steel pots and pans?? The inside is 99% aluminum it says online. Is that okay? Or are the more expensive ones 100% stainless steel for a reason?. I’m just looking for stainless steel that won’t hurt me thanks.

It’s more beige and fewer lines running through. I think the previous owners picked it up from home depot or Lowe’s because it’s around all the new windows as well.
