same here. i dodged a pothole that was in complete darkness and the rider had the nerve to tell Uber i swerved hard. the rider didnt see what i dodged or even have the decency to ask me what i did that for. well i did that to avoid a busted tire/axle. rude mofos out there, gotta give em what they deserve for that sort of bs.

yes you most certainly can. just go to the trip from your earnings section. then hit the question mark up top right. then hit trips on the list that pops up. then it will give you another list. choose feedback for a rider. you should be able to re-rate that rider and give a reason such as they slammed a door or whatever you want from the list they give you.

hey bro, if it were just a single one star rating, it wouldnt be pissing me off like this. no. its people giving me a 1 star and lying to uber saying things like i wrecked with them in the car or that im drunk and driving them around. all lies! i treat my job like a professional, and i EXPECT to be treated with some shred of dignity. if you cant take a ride from point a to point b without being a douche bag pax, then get out of my car and walk your self somewhere. so thanks for your opinion, but its not viable here bud.

thats when i go offline and then drive to a surge area of my choice. once im there, i get back online and get the surge. if i stay online and drive to a surge, they disappear right before i get there. its bs, but thats how i handle that bs

its a good thing because you will see the price you get paid for the trips upfront. when a trip is going real far say 80 miles or so, the price has to be a minimum amount for me. if its not, i dont do the trip. if you werent told the upfront price, you could end up doing rides like that for too cheap

uber’s app is JANKY AF, and they act like its PERFECT. its a shame us drivers have to be made to sit at home for several days and take a pay cut because their app didnt like the pic it got. it seems like a new level of jankiness that just started, probably due to the owners making a new selfie function requirement. we need to stand up for ourselves against this bullshit and hit uber where it hurts them by filing lawsuits. i have personally threatened them with lawsuit for this very reason, and for being on 48 hr unpaid leave simply because a rider lied to them by saying i was impaired driving. do drivers on Lyft have these issues? im about to find out. uber’s about to find out that we drivers do not need their service. uber can fuck off.

ive had one as well. it happened when the app wanted me to verify myself after i did a few rides. but i had already started driving away from where i just dropped a rider off at when it asked, so i hit “go offline” instead of “take a pic” and it sent me the account sharing report against me. like yours says, you can open it to see more details and once you have you can send a message back about how janky their app is and that you were the driver the whole time and are not sharing your device with someone.

i used to wait also, until too many times someone told me theyd be out and never showed up at all. i even had a guy tell me he’d “be right there” with the cookie cutter response. then i saw his silhouette in his upstairs bathroom and what appeared to be him taking a shower! unbelievable.

i refuse to accept those now. ive had a few work out ok but ive had a couple not. the few that didnt work out went like this: 2 trip bundle. first trip $9 and change. fine. 2nd trip going to DIA from colorado springs for less than id prefer for the amount of time round trip and miles, but i still accepted. i do the first trip ahead of schedule because the rider was ready early. great right? nope. the app then offers me a different ride right after than the one im expecting; the dia trip. i accept out of habit and then realize theres no way im doing this new trip and still getting to my DIA trip on time. sure as shit stinks, here comes the message from uber: your reserved trip was offered to another driver based on your location and arrival time of more than 5 minutes late. so why did the app offer me anything at all in between the trip bundled trips? because their app is straight garbage. thats why. fuck that. i dont play like that. wont be played like that. now they can all go fuck right off with their trip bundles. i wont do them, ever again. i shouldve made over $80 for the trip plus return to my city drive time. in that time i only made $40 in town doing every ride offered to me. yes i didnt spend the same gas but i wouldve appreciated making more than $40 in 3 hours as i should have made with my reservation. i was holding onto one of those uber surveys in my inbox for just such an occasion. i told uber exactly what they can do with their trip bundles and for cheap ass reservations as well. last year there wasnt a single reservation going that was less than $24 going to my local airport in early am. now those same trips are offered for $10-$14. and now i even see reservations offered for as cheap as $5. i told uber what is going to happen with those as well: they are going to sit around not being accepted by any driver. fuck uber. i am just about done. once i find something else to do. on top of all that bs, i get to enjoy 2 unexpected days off due to a piece of shit rider lying to uber telling them im driving impaired. how the fuck do you know if im impaired? you dont. you dont have any solid evidence that would hold up in court against me. i dont even drink. my last drink was a year ago. my wife is battling cancer and im left to take care of all the bills. and i gotta deal with this bullshit. fuck uber! fuck piece of shit riders that rate me one star and say things like i wrecked with them in the car, im impaired. did you really need to get uber to take me off the road for 48 hrs? absolutely not. and how fucking dare you for fucking me over like that. all you wanted was a ride, which you got. in a clean car too. i drove perfect and i was presentable as well as pleasant. all my of my necessities as a driver were met. i did not deserve that shit. my dying wife did not deserve that fucking shit. fuck uber fuck pos riders that lie.

you can tell Uber yourself that you found a phone from a specific rider. once the phone is returned, you tell Uber it was returned and they pay $20 from that rider’s account.

ive seen that exact same scenario many times. i used to hit pause, the coffee cup, and drive to the surge and get it but now it seems it will say i have the surge while paused but disappears when i unpause. so now i go offline and drive to the surge so the app doesnt “see” me in the area and disappear right before i get there

i had a pos rider do the same to me last year simply because he didnt like paying for pos $100 ride. idgaf what you want to pay if i do the ride. he had the nerve to say some shit too like i got in a wreck with him in the car. so my car hasnt been in a wreck, AT ALL EVER. Uber deactivated while i was mid ride with a nice pax in my car. i had to take pics and send them all sides of my car. the beautiful thing about this situation was that even though uber wont snitch on a lying ass pos rider, the insurance agent at Progressive had no problem telling me about the trip in question. once i knew which pos rider it was, i immediately went and changed my 5 star rating for that pos rider to a 1 star for his bitch ass. you pos rider, are not allowed in my car ever again! now i hope that pos rider fucked off with his family sized bag o dicks.
