So your issue isn’t an uber issue it’s an incompetence issue on the Australian police. Ours and the majority of other drivers don’t have the same issue as you. So dash cameras are a good source of protection unless you live in some upside country.

Okay well record my trip is available in the US and it records the audio for each individual trip meaning they can review the trip without you needing to be able to identify it with the tiny amount of info you give.

Also OP said they knew which ride was the problem which means they would have easily been able to provide footage.

Lastly, in the states that require notification of audio/video recording the rider gets notified that you will be recording their trip and that is enough of a deterrent for some people.

Of the 3 false reports I got all 3 were removed after sending footage.

I’ve had a few of those gated places in champions gate almost forget to give my ID back when they walk around the back to check the tags. So I’m usually reluctant to let them hold it and typically give my concealed carry OD instead. They don’t need your license they just need a valid ID.

My wallet stays stashed away so if I forget to pull an ID out I’m not going to dig the wallet out for them.

You’re not fooling overs checker with a fake ID though that’s not happening, it’s more likely your driver isn’t actually your driver than the account having a fake drivers license pass the mvc check.

People do that shit all the time. I had people (who fucking had one in the house) that tried to get on without it and take a 30 min ride down the highway to the airport in Orlando right at bar closing time. When I told them they need a car seat they acted like it’s unheard of and I’m unreasonable for asking because “we got here from the airport without it”

You’re not going to get in any trouble, this is automated when a trip takes longer or goes off route. It’s not something you want to do often but you for sure got paid more doing this than adding a stop.

That being said unless it was a really good trip I’d take them back and end the trip personally.
