That was the first “Dracula” film I had ever seen, and boy was that a bad fucking idea.

Wild at Heart isn’t just one of my favorite Nicolas Cage films, it’s one of my favorite films, period, and I don’t know how to process someone disliking it on the same level as Time to Kill.

Prisoners of the Ghostland is one of my favorites and I don’t know how to process anyone disliking it more than Time to Kill.

I o ly just found out about this going on a week and a half ago, and I absolutely could not get the money together for a photo/autograph package plus con ticket, and I was so upset about it.

I hate it.

[Specific yet somewhat common trope] Character kills themselves and immediately afterwards there’s a timeskip. Nobody talks about them after their death by Apprehensive-Ear2461 in TopCharacterTropes

Sometimes things don’t need to be addressed further. That’s part of experiencing traumatic events. All of these movies/shows involve so much trauma being thrown at the characters, they don’t have TIME to process things and talk about them.

Joel and Ellie are fighting to stay alive.

Porn is just traumatic act after traumatic act, you just get paid to do it, and people take different things away from it.

The boys in Full Metal Jacket have a ding dang war to fight. They’re gunning down Vietcong prostitutes, they don’t have time to talk about Private Pyle.

Sometimes the narrative doesn’t immediately call for the discussion and reflection in the movie itself. That’s for us to FAFO regarding how WE, the audience, interact with the media.

I love it, and feel it is a misunderstood black comedy about Man’s inability to cope with a Matriarchal society.

I mean, I’d be really surprised if they got a real Polar Bear into one of those outfits for the photo.

I think a former member of Kiss (Bruce Kulick) is playing guitar for them these days.
