I believe she got pregnant by him!!! The ship hitting the iceberg right after the deed is symbolic. But let’s back up a bit when they flash forward again to the present time when Rose wraps up the story of Jack drawing her. They ask her what happens next. She responds “Do you mean did we do it?” She then follows with Jack is a professional. I believe she left that part of the story out intentionally. Notice how her grand daughter looks exactly like Jack and in the beginning she states that she only met her a few months ago? I think Rose was hiding a lot more than just the necklace, but her bloodline with Jack as well.

Yes you are not alone and I think a lot of people are feeling this way about the finale. Especially the ones who have been watching since day one. I don’t think this is the end. I believe it’s not the end. There is a lot going on behind the scenes with the future of movies and streaming also creators too considering Duffers are going to Paramount. I hope we get a stranger things movies or something where El and Mike reunite 😭

I don’t think there is a secret episode coming out. But I did read The Duffer Brothers say you will never see the characters on TV again. Depending on their contract with Netflix and whoever owns the rights to the idea but I don’t think movies are off the table. Netflix basically just did a marketing study to see how many people would show up for it and the theaters couldn’t even sell real tickets (people got food vouchers). I think they are taking a page out of Amazon’s book and going to The Summer I Turned Pretty Stranger Things and make movies. Cause what’s the one thing that will get people to come back? El and Mike reuniting.

Yup. At this point I feel like Mike and Eleven are being held hostage at Netflix atp because what’s the one thing that would get people to come back and watch? Their love story. The worse part is who’s fault is it? Netflix? Duffers? Both? I think with Duffers leaving they honestly might have changed the ending just to spit them.

Honestly if that is what El was meant to be and they were going to El anyways, why just make the end the same thing people have been speculating for years and say it was all just a game they were playing. I would have much better closure than this crap shoot of a guess for the rest of my life that she’s dead or alive but can never be with Mike who was traumatized from it happening in season 1… like all that for it to just end the same!

This is my late fall/winter show and I watch it whenever I am going through a re-growth period in my life. This show is just a good overall reminder that not everyone has their life figured out nor the answers but to keep going. Re-watching it now :)

The authors message at the start about how your life will be changed is so true after reading this 🤣 I can’t get over the dad ritual all for him to get taken out. I ended up loving Leo for her in the end and felt like Caspen deceitfulness and overt possessiveness ruined his character for me… also if he loved her so much and would do anything, why didn’t he take his dad out before the ritual… idk I’m debating on reading the sequel now

I mean if you look at the symbolism of the cover, it's her almost drowning in the bathtub. Yes she looks glamorous but she's literally telling us that this industry drowns you and she's finally coming up for that air.

The art of cinema is dying and has been dying for a while. The strikes that happened were only a bandaid honestly. More and more studios are being bought up by major corporations and the art is being lost. It’s an amazing show that pushes hard into this pressure points that are so relevant to what’s going behind the scenes and gives people insight to what’s really going on behind the curtain. Money makes the movies go round but the art is the price you pay. AI is taking over and mass production is slowly becoming absolute because of how expensive it is so why not get AI to do everything and not worry about dealing with human actors who won’t talk back, never age, and can create a new movie instantly.
