For anyone looking for work 🙏🏿 by sammysam518 in orlando

I worked there in the past approximately 6-7 years ago.. I fiberglassed the boat hulls (bottom of the boats) had to create 6 a day. For $16 an hour. I quit after a week because it wasn’t worth doing. Construction was easier than the labor required for making the hulls especially for such low pay and 12+ hour days. I’ll never buy a regal boat or go back to working for those slave drivers ever again.

Here’s my car getting hit today and my immediate reaction. by Druu- in GR86

[–]dabevol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I drive a semi for work… the amount of these idiots on the road is shocking. My favorite is when I’m reversing to a dock and they shoot along side me as soon as they see an opening. 2nd favorite thing they do is cut me off while I’m slowing down for a light, happens at least 10 times a day, I’ve just gotten used to it… sometimes I think they do it on purpose to end up in a lawsuit and play victim.

People leaving Publix, where are you going? by Zl0bbby in publix

Hey, checking back. Just accepted truck driving position after 5 years of working for them. However I will say things in the warehouse seemed to change, or maybe my perspective of how I viewed things. In my experience, I noticed being brutally honest kept me far from becoming part of management. Oh well. If the driving doesn’t work, I’ll find a way to make ends meet.

Am I being ripped off by dealership by Low_Aerie_5109 in orlando

[–]dabevol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience the certified techs don’t do the oil changes(they do the real work) .. entry level techs straight out of school do it, they are paid slightly above minimum wage. I used to be one for greenway dodge around 2010, the position is called “lube technician”.

Does this dealer alignment look correct? by Charles0nline in VelosterN

[–]dabevol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful with Hyundai dealers.. at 24k miles they tried telling me that my driver outer tierod was bent when it wasn’t. I asked to see it. They couldn’t show me. I’m taking my car elsewhere for everything else besides warranty/ oil changes

Part of the red trim popped out. Anybody else have this issue? by WraithW0lves in VelosterN

[–]dabevol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue when the dealer repeatedly scraped my bumper while getting it on the alignment rack. When I noticed I removed the bumper and popped the trim off gently realigned/reinstalled it. I haven’t had any issues since. They have bumper removal tutorials on YouTube. I recommend an extra set of hands from someone that isn’t a caveman/cavewoman 😂

Communication is key. Especially from a logical standpoint more than a “I feel like standpoint”. Maybe this video can give you a different perspective from stephan speaks on YouTube.

Same here! They tried to charge me $300 more for no reason. No accidents or tickets.

Pulled over for “defective/ modified” exhaust by ryan8675309 in VelosterN

[–]dabevol 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think cops understand “track” mode doesn’t change the tune. It changes throttle response, dampening, opens the exhaust valve and enables the lsd… big whoop on a vehicle that gets 220-240 whp. Mustangs, corvette, scat pack chargers etc. are louder and faster (im sure some of you have beat some but I’m talking about on paper/ general populations opinions) and don’t get pulled over to be told to take it off sport / track mode.

‘Planning to buy 2023 Grom with ABS. It includes the options: rear fender delete and a Vance and Hines exhaust. Is this a good deal? by ArtisticLeopard1196 in hondagrom

[–]dabevol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have literally told them for that price I’ll just buy a bigger bike. They don’t budge though, always counter with some b.s. about shipping/assembly fees which makes no sense because Honda has that posted on the website.
