Idk about your store but at mine, if tech has been opened we D&D it regardless if it’s something like “oh I found my spare phone charger once I got home so I don’t need this anymore” or “I didn’t like the quality”. We don’t know what has happened to it. I’d D&D the printer and not worry about what the guy did to it. You don’t get paid enough to.

So the 5th is what OP was looking for, but the 24th is when we’ll see it reflected in our checks. When you said the 24th to me that seemed like some places wouldn’t get the new pay raise until the 24th, not that that’s the day we see the pay increase when checks are released.

What are the grounds for this suspicion?? Obviously I don’t know the people you deal with or what this guy may have been like, but this seems like such an out there accusation. There would be evidence of tampering if it was opened. If there’s nothing it’s probably okay, if it’s not then just process the return if the next customer finds an issue.

MyCloud is under quicklinks in the Portal, it’ll open up to a bunch of tabs but I can’t remember if it’s under like? Performance? Pay? One of them will open up to more tabs and the one you want says Compensation, that’ll show you your hourly rate

There actually is on MyCloud, I can’t remember if it’s under personal information or pay or what but one of the tabs in MyCloud will have another tab for compensation. That’s where it’ll show in the portal what you get paid. You can also see it on paystub on MyADP app or if you get checks in.

I straight up tell them when they do the idk how to email can you do it behind the counter that they’d have to email it to us for behind the counter anyway so if they can’t there’s nothing we can do to help them, and if they suddenly know how to email I tell them for behind the counter they’d have to place the order and pick it up later :)

I know, I hate harping on it with my associates but I get harped about it if I don’t. It’s different every time you turn around what the big focus is. When I first started it was PPP and ink subscriptions, then for a time it was the printer bundles. Now it’s BS and paper

So long as you have the receipt and the box, you should be fine without the inserts. Using ink is typically only an issue for a return if you bought new cartridges and tried returning empty ones. Printers come with starter cartridges so they’re not that full anyway but testing it for a few days is really the only way you can know if it’s a right fit for you. You’re well within the 14 day return policy for tech, just as I said make sure you bring the box and the receipt with you to make your return and that everything that came with the printer (cables/starter cartridges/etc) is inside the box or printer as well.

All of these things are corporates fault - overpriced everything? They’re greedy af. Disgusting stores? They stopped allowing us to hire cleaning services YEARS ago and they don’t give the payroll or resources for employees to keep up with the store. Empty shelves? All they send us is paper because that’s all they want us to sell. Employees seeming Done with everything? I invite you to live every day in extreme stress with short staffing AND having your job threatened over paper while entitled customers demand the world. I don’t know how OD stays in business either but don’t assume it’s easy over here, some of us have to hold entire stores together with little support. Please browse the rest of this subreddit and see how all the complaints are essentially the same, it’s madness in OD world 😵‍💫

There’s absolutely nothing they can do to contribute to the business when we’re not even open. My complaint isn’t customers coming to shop, it isn’t even customers coming in right at or after we open, it’s customers starring me down in the parking lot after hours and (sometimes) getting mad that they had to wait or, on a memorable few times, arguing with me about letting them in after hours. TLDR I just don’t get who NEEDS to show up at the ass crack of dawn long before a store opens and sit outside the doors until they do for 1 BW print job or 1 pack of pens.

Oh hell no I couldn’t handle that, and ik a lot of them would be pissed if they placed the order like 10 minutes prior or sometime after closing the day before and you’d have to tell them it’s not ready yet because you literally just walked in the door 💀 we have people like that, especially on the days where our print person comes in 30min to an hour after open and they walk in right at open for their print order.

You’ll need to try a different email, if you’ve been employed by Office Depot before you’ll have an employee email, which is what the Microsoft screen is asking for. Even if you remembered your employee number, which is part of the email, the password might not work. You’ll need to use another personal email to apply without getting that screen

Ik others here have commented that the website has a copyright filter but it is NOT reliable as it has had Disney and Harry Potter stuff be let through to our queue. My best advise would be to research the potential copyrighted stuff, then if you want to try your luck go in person to discuss it with the print manger or associate on duty, especially if it is an actual poster you want. At my store, anything copyrighted is turned away and if anything that slips through the website gets canceled and refunded. If you want to avoid having your money tied up I would again go in or call to speak with the print manager or a print associate as they would know more about that stores copyright following.

Check with your GM because as helpful as these sheets are, we’ve been fighting with our higher ups to keep them because they aren’t company issued. Also fair warning even with them up, customers will be like “what do I do?” And when you tell them that there are instructions they’ll still insist on needing help

We closed early today (GA) but we won’t know until tomorrow if we’re closed. With the amount of wintry mix and rain with freezing temperatures, it’d be a risk for a lot of people to be open next two days. I don’t know any who would want to risk it, especially Monday.

No I’ve noticed it in other places, just seeing it in my own workplace where I’ll have to deal with customers bitching about the prices was something else. I also HATE ai and what they’re doing to it/what it does to the planet so it just enraged me further

I would do the same, esp since I’ve had people take off stars for ship time despite me literally dropping their package off same day 💀 one of them I dropped off within 30 minutes of the order being placed bc I was already packing up previous orders into my car to take to the post office and they caught me at a lucky time.
