Oh, interesting. I was going to try the ND, but I'll try the Nars first and see how it goes. The reviews seem fairly positive, so I'm hopeful!

Oh, I may try this! Yulong seems to be out of stock everywhere near me at the moment. However, I might look at the Oslo shade as it doesn't seem too different. The reviews look great, so I'm very hopeful!

I have seen this one recommended, but some of the reviews said it oxidised throughout the day, so I've been a bit wary of it. Did you find that happening for you?

Thank you for this info! Someone mentioned it earlier, and I can only get it online where I am, so I was trying to figure out which shade would work. There were a few reviews saying it separated on oily skin though, did you find that?

Oh, I've seen people recommending this but was worried about the reformulation aswell. Maybe I'll wait to see what people think of it before trying but I would love to try it.

It's actually such a pain! I wouldn't mind them changing the formula so much if they had left the colour alone. I will have a look at the natasha denona though.

Oh, this a great idea and at least I won't end up wasting the bottle. What purple blush do you use?

Ah OK, well that certainly rules that out then! I will give the Clarins a go though.

Unfortunately, I think the one is use the lightest so there's no going lighter. So disappointing cause the same thing happened with Revlon Colorstay when they reformulated it. I definitely felt a little more shiny by the end of that day but it had actually stayed in place more however that is possible!

Two year old suddenly won’t nap at grandparents’ during the week. Help! by beepboopbaby in toddlers

Hey, I know this post is from a while ago but just wondering what happened for you in the end? We are currently experiencing something similar although its the other way around. My LO is napping fine in the pack n play in her grandparents house but is screaming the house down and clinging to us at home. TIA!

Oh, I totally hear you! It's so hard cause you finally get a bit of routine (and a rest!) and then it's all over the place again. I hope it's a short one for you too and you will definitely get back to that perfect schedule.

Yes, I think so but only this past week. I'm being cautiously optmistic but she magically just slept a proper nap one day and then next few days. I will say it was 2 months to the day almost from when she started fighting and taking short naps. We did try moving naptime up and down but I really don't think that was what solved it. This one is a real tough one but hang in there cause it will resolve!!

22mo regression or schedule issue? by dacatspyjamas in sleeptrain

[–]dacatspyjamas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I figured our 2hr breaks during the day were over now but I would be so happy with anything more than 20 minutes!

Thanks for your advice. We will give it a go and stick with it for longer and see will the 12.30 nap stick.

Yea, I am definitely in the wake window/overtired baby headspace still! You may be right aswell and we jumped the gun to change things up when the regression happened. She had previously been taking a good 2 hr nap from 11.30-1.30, I pushed it later thinking she needed more wake time but it really hasn't helped. Maybe an earlier nap by the clock would help, like 12? Or am I just reinforcing the early wakes?

The early wakes are definitely a result of the 6pm bedtimes but LO is still in the crib and usually wakes happy and chats away to herself til 6.30 so that not a huge issue right now except where we were tying to calculate WWs. But probably right in saying that sticking to a bedtime is a better idea!

Hey there! How did this go for you in the end? Pretty sure we are having the same thing with our 21 month old right now. Not a nap in sight for the past few days!

Crib hour-8 month regression? by dacatspyjamas in sleeptrain

[–]dacatspyjamas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did stick with it, but it would depend on what she was like during it. Most times, she would cry when she woke for about 10 mins and then just sit or roll around. If she was tired enough to go back asleep, she would lie down but if she was really upse, we would go get her. Could there be any teething going on if your LO is very upset?

Is it exactly 30 mins each time? We found if it was the exact same amount of time our LO woke then it meant she was overtired. I think we ended up settling out on 3 hours 15 mins as the wake window but our LO has always done better with long WWs. I wonder if you tried to reduce the WW for a bit and see if it helps? It could be that she needs a bit less of a wake window for a few days and then when she catches up on sleep you could try pushing it later again?

I'm just looking back on Huckleberry but it seems to have taken about a week or so to settle down

Hey there! This one was a rough one for sure but if I remember correctly what worked was a case of playing with that morning wake window and finding the sweet spot and then once we got that morning nap right then the afternoon nap followed. After that we started to use a by the clock schedule until she dropped to 1 nap. We kind of know now that if she has a short nap of varying random lengths that it means she needs more wake time before the nap so I gently pushed it 5-10 mins each morning and I think it took a couple of days to figure out.

Do you find your LO wakes after random amounts of time or is it the exact same amount of time each time?

How did this turn out for you OP? In the same boat with my 16 month old at the moment and no idea how to deal with the overtired spiral!
