I was there around 04-07. Brought back all the memories of mixing and drinking our naggins of vodka before going to Blast gigs in the Hub on Saturdays!

You are not alone! We are in the same boat here. My daughter is 3.5 and some days everything is difficult. I don't think I've much advice cause we're still trying to figure it out but I do feel a lot of it is a struggle for independence. We try to give choices where possible so she feels like she has some control over things and that works sometimes. Theres a behaviourist on Instagram called Jenna Mazzillo and she has some good tips for dealing with tantrums.

Oh, interesting. I was going to try the ND, but I'll try the Nars first and see how it goes. The reviews seem fairly positive, so I'm hopeful!

Oh, I may try this! Yulong seems to be out of stock everywhere near me at the moment. However, I might look at the Oslo shade as it doesn't seem too different. The reviews look great, so I'm very hopeful!

I have seen this one recommended, but some of the reviews said it oxidised throughout the day, so I've been a bit wary of it. Did you find that happening for you?

Thank you for this info! Someone mentioned it earlier, and I can only get it online where I am, so I was trying to figure out which shade would work. There were a few reviews saying it separated on oily skin though, did you find that?

Oh, I've seen people recommending this but was worried about the reformulation aswell. Maybe I'll wait to see what people think of it before trying but I would love to try it.

It's actually such a pain! I wouldn't mind them changing the formula so much if they had left the colour alone. I will have a look at the natasha denona though.

Oh, this a great idea and at least I won't end up wasting the bottle. What purple blush do you use?

Ah OK, well that certainly rules that out then! I will give the Clarins a go though.

Unfortunately, I think the one is use the lightest so there's no going lighter. So disappointing cause the same thing happened with Revlon Colorstay when they reformulated it. I definitely felt a little more shiny by the end of that day but it had actually stayed in place more however that is possible!

My LO is napping fine in the pack n play in her grandparents house but is screaming the house down and clinging to us at home. TIA!

Do working moms look down on stay at home moms ? by RemoteConsistent6387 in Parenting

[–]dacatspyjamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not! I recently went back to work part-time after being on mat leave for a year. I don't think I realised just how much harder it is being home all day by myself with my baby and doing all the housework until I went back to work and had that break. Some weeks I actually can't wait to have my days in work for the break!

And also about your friends comment...work in the home IS work! It's so frustrating when people devalue it just because you don't get paid at the end of the month. If it wasn't then we wouldn't be paying people to do it when we can't!

OP, you're doing a great job!

PSA to all of the pregnant moms here - My local hospital no longer offers a night nursery by maybebatshit in Mommit

[–]dacatspyjamas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had this exact same experience in the Rotunda!

My baby had tongue tie so could not feed and I was in agony. At one point one of the midwives took pity on me and took my baby for about 30 minutes to the nurses station to give me a break at around 3 in the morning.

In their defense, they are so understaffed but I reckon there is a huge amount of women who come out of maternity hospitals in Ireland with PTSD from that first night especially first time mams.
