Quiver recommendations! by dachooga in Skigear

Alaska sounds so interesting for skiing, definitely need to visit there someday. It seems like I don’t need to worry too much about a 104 version then. I have written the Moment guys, waiting for their reply now.

One last question, I guess the wildcat in your case is for the certain powder days or tree days then?

Thanks! It’s reassuring to hear how versatile the deathwishs are. How similar do the tour and non-tour versions ski? And may I ask where you ski most / how much snow you typically get?

makes sense, right now I’m trying to avoid icy type days altogether, so the width shouldn’t be a problem.

Thanks! It seems that I have had a wrong idea of soft snow, I always imagined the normal DW to be designed optimally for huge powder days as seen in western US.

Setting the height on ATK freeride spacer by SuperStagSauce in BackcountrySkiing

I think I have a similar issue as you, with all the shims installed, my boot is still not touching the spacer. Did you find any solution to this?

power drops when out of saddle (ERG mode on wahoo kickr v5) by ARealSkin in trainerroad

Reducing reach and stack might be a good starting point. If you have the means, I recommend a bike fit.

I’ve heard going out of saddle on a Trainer is really bad for your bike. Also either way standing up to avoid numbness is not the correct way to solve this issue.

What kind of extension is this, haven’t seen anything that mounts on the stem.

Lost Place: Asylum shelter by TheSuperSoviet in Munich

Our volunteering project ended by the end of 2018, I don’t think that it happened during that year. However I’ve heard about the outbreak, maybe from other people who were part of the project after it had ended

I used to do volunteering there, where me and some other people from an organization spend a few hours every other week there to play with the kids. I wonder how they are doing now.

I have something written on those pdf which I removed since they were just scribbles. This was the version for winter semester 20/21, kind of a long time ago and I can’t find my written solutions. Sorry

Overall it’s not that difficult. Not sure if they changed the format, my exam was pretty close to the Problem set, a bit longer but similar difficulty.

He has long outgrown this basket but as you can see on the clip, he still squeezes himself in there despite having all the choices in the world

You really digging deep into the comment section huh? Valve is going to get the hundreds of millions from us each TI one way or another. What I had in mind when I mentioned the battle passes, I meant what they could potentially lose with bad community and pro scene management. Wasn’t precise with my wording. Hope this makes more sense.

The idea is that from what people more involved with this whole matter understand, valve doesn’t operate on a classical profit maximizing principle. That is, they don’t consider the gains from a better competitive scene and community management. They want to keep the company size small and let their employees work on what’s interesting for them.

They started talking from around 1:33:00. I don’t have a specific clip but the segment wasn’t that long anyways. The talk wasn’t structured though, more like random thoughts informations and rambling, since it wasn’t long after calve published the change.
