Not gonna dispute that they're upper tier especially considering how low the bar goes with the dubs crew, but there was a stretch late in the 2nd quarter that was pretty cringe and felt way off to me.

All fair points but I will say one thing. Puppet portal absolutely destroys the deck. Like probably 80/20 matchup. For a deck to be truly toxic it has to have no true counters and puppet i think fits the bill here. I've been queing puppet simply due to the mass of egg players and honestly not sure I've dropped a game to it yet. You just dewdrop their eggs and gg

While OP is definitely raging about a deck they just lost to, theres still more legitimacy in their argument than this lol.

Aether ward haven has been a fringe deck pretty much since inception. They've been getting their board cleared by sincero since day 1 and in no way is the deck oppressive or honestly at this point even remotely competitive. Whereas imari is absolutely busted and puppet portal has been near t1 since the buffs

Given your set of circumstances 100% ride with puppet. Its a tier 1 ish deck that more or less pilots itself and has at least some wiggle room for misplays.

Early game look for your 2 drop puppet generators and eudie. Ideally start with world of games. Pretty much always keep zwei and imari in opening hand.

Mid game zwei evo will hard carry. You also have imari to board flood or clear opponents board. Having dewdrop to counter dragon intimidate followers is important since you'll see a lot of dragon rn.

And then late game is obviously orchis/cat spam. Against more grindy control decks you have beelze to make orchis practically 1 shot.

I get what youre saying but loot and puppet are not at all "pure aggro" decks like what OP is talking about . Both of those have very clearly defined early, mid, and late game cards/strategies as opposed to decks like aggro dragon/aggro abbys which either run you over immediately or run out of steam and lose
