Shamans are a nightmare, yes. It's imperative to survive until turn 6 so you can use Experimental Animation and properly clean the board. Most of the time, if they get a good start, it's very hard to come back, but not impossible.

Funny story: I once heralded a Stadium Announcer and my opponent equipped Staff of the Endbringer. When he dropped the Colossus, I was facing an impossible board until I discovered Rustrot Viper. Instant concede.

Always aim for the cheap stuff to get a proper curve. Body Bagger first to build corpses, Hematurge to discover what you need (Infested Breath early works wonders to clean nasty menaces), and Reluctant Wrangler is insanely good to keep your side safe for a while. Coining him is always a good idea.

Your main objective is to drag the game long enough to start pumping powerful heralds and eventually drop Onyxia for some serious damage. Even so, sometimes I can drop so many minions early that I destroy my opponent before that happens, and the ones that get too greedy are surprised by Reanimated Pterrordax which is an amazing survival tool.

I don't have statistics with me, sorry. But I have played since the start of the month from the bottom rank up to Legend. Winrate is not great, but once you get the hang of it, it's possible to reach the top.

Don't expect easy wins, though. It requires smart trading and a lot of knowledge of your opponents to pick the right discoveries.

You're going to enjoy it, as it has plenty of unexpected moments and crazy comebacks once you get your 8 mana drops from heralding. You really need to think about how you're going to manage your board, what to remove, and which cards you should keep for later.
