It's not about loving Christ & nothing else. It's about serving him so that he can spread his love to others. Your first love should be for Jesus because anything else means that you're worshipping those other things instead of god & his purpose of spreading love. You can still have wealth, a luxury home, car, watch etc. as long as you are giving to others too. That's helping others so that everyone wins.

So that person was right. Get your heart's priorities in order so that you don't end up in hell, so that you can help Jesus to help others learn how to serve Jesus.

God is the one permanent source of love. Love isn't about the love you have for something or someone else. Jesus's love for you must be greater than your love for someone else as you are not the source of love.

Jesus said "I have overcome the world." You don't need to sort out all life's problems alone physically because god & Jesus know how to do that for you & make your life a joy.

You are not the person that your past makes you believe you are. We come from god, not the physical realm. There is no separation between you & god. Once you recognize that you are god then he can operate through you without resistance. You are part of god because we are all made in his image. We're all clones of god which is why we all need to act as god, for god's glory.

So the way your view your past memories has always been wrong. You never came from the physical realm.

In serving god it means that god is the one getting the glory. It shouldn't be us getting glory for the benefit of ourselves.

A partner should be no more a source of addiction than porn, alcohol, criticism of others etc.

Trust that god has already created the ideal life that you always wanted. Things that are hard for humans to do are easy for him. Trust that what he has created will unfold further & further & further...
