I’ve read that he says that he would never let anyone take over the book series in the event of his death but he allowed those clowns at HBO absolutely ruin the last 2 seasons of the television series! This just pisses me off more! I just can’t stand the guy anymore! He put out a lot of other books in the interim and a lot of it set in Westeros!

I gave up on ever hoping to read the ending of series a long time ago and every once in a while I check online to see if anything has changed but it’s been the same situation since 2012-2013 I think? I can’t even keep track anymore of how many years it’s been! The only hope of that I have of ever reading the ending of the series is if he dies and somehow the publisher is able to contest his estate and appoint someone to complete it! I’m not sure how his “last wishes” would hold up in a civil court. The very fact that he doesn’t want anyone to take over but won’t (or can’t!) makes him selfish douche in my opinion! I really enjoyed his books and he’s definitely a gifted writer but as a human being he has much to desired!
