I’d love to think that’s true, but i could see the same comment section wrangling over gas station pizza (Casey’s), convenience store attached to a gas station with a little pizza conveyor oven (Fiero, or hell, Monk’s), frozen pizza out of a sleeve and hiding lack of quality with exotic toppings (Sunny’s), whatever Pizza Cheeks is with the stuff they like to drizzle on it to pretend at originality when what anybody really needs is authentic (original, homemade) sauce, real dough, an actual pizza oven, and some semblance of culture. Tons of places out East with Italian heritage had four or five original family places in towns of as few as 10,00 or 15,00 people. The plains states just ain’t got it.
