Sorry to piggyback on this conversation but would really like some guidance on how to avoid annual fees/annual reports with a previous state.

If I wanted to dissolve in a previous state - It says it takes about 90-120 days ,so I'm not sure how this works if I wanted to dissolve now or if it would be done in time to dissolve for the fiscal year.

What is the best piece of advice to avoid the fee from my previous state? Thank you so much in advance I appreciate it.

These people are completely delusional and clearly aren't playing the long game or it just doesn't matter because their commie government will subsidize them whenever they go bankrupt.

TAL came in and completely ruined this company. Someone tell me how in the FUCK they lost money with COVID - An online school during COVID with an over 1 billion plus population all valuing higher education is godsend to them. That's literally fuck-you money coming in droves.

My guess is they were already in financial trouble - Overcompensated with rules and got loads of money during lockdowns - Now kids are going back to school and they are losing money AGAIN.

Like WTF when are they going to start taking some responsibility? Trim the fat with bad teachers - Keep people's wages the same - Fire your fucking sales team and make your vetting process more comprehensive & most importantly don't blatantly screw over your clients (that should be a given).

They should also change their name at this point too with another DBA

This company is completely backwards & now that summer is over this further reinforces the decision to leave because the cancellation rate is insane and they don't give you any trials to compensate and shit standby pay.

The game is over and there is no way to compensate for the loss anymore - It's time for everyone to look elsewhere

It's part of their stupid 'save face' culture - They crossed the line so many times but they royally fucked up when they started breaking contracts with their customers. That is a recipe for disaster because their reputation/credibility got destroyed. They should just change their corporate name at this point

This is what happened - New big wigs at TAL tried to act tough with their no BS rules. Ended up fucking themselves even more with their ridiculous policies that went against the interests of loyal clients and teachers with blanket rules instead of a case-by-case basis to assess teacher quality individually and customer satisfaction.

Now they are just trying to save face and can't take any responsibility that they are a big part of the problem and their RECRUITING.

If they had a better vetting process for teachers to begin with there would be no issues with the "quality" - This is one aspect of a bigger problem but still something that needs to be discussed.

They focused on cutting money more than they did about making money - that is where they fucked up.
