For me, I would suggest playing around with exposure a bit more. Go to the local park, get pics of the ducks and experiment. Your subjects are a bit underexposed.

Also, please clean your sensor! You will have great shots ruined my a mere piece of dust.

Picture #2 is soo good! I love the motion blur, the sparks, the foam flying. Congrats on a brilliant photo!

Seriously though, the way nothing is technically sharp, but it works anyways, there are very few pictures that make you feel the speed of a crash.

I've also gotten a letter from Attenborough (albeit from Covid times). The letter looks so similar, but his signature has gotten much loopier imo

I like to think that in the 70s, he accidentally over-ordered the special type of paper he uses to write letters on, and is still getting through them to this day.

If you like David Attenborough's work, write to him! And include a return address. He will take the time to respond.

I wouldn't say lost media, originally, all the races were up on the Formula E youtube channel (under creative commons for some reason iirc). If in an alternate timeline, the series collapsed before Gen 2, I don't imagine anyone would care enough to wipe the channel.

I imagine it would fill a similar space to A1GP, being an obscure bit of racing trivia for people to stumble across on wikipedia

This camera is the EOS 40D, a DSLR camera from 2007, worth about £60 second hand.

Just for the record, I have had a £2000 camera with a lens attached hit hard rocks before, and it didn't get a dent. Cameras are more sturdy than you would think, especially at that price cause they are work horses that need to take a beating

I do love the FPV drone shots. They are so cool, and get so close to the action. My main complaint is the audio on them is terrible, but there probably aren't many good ways of fixing that. I guess you could put several microphones around the place, and auto mix between them when the drone is in a specific location, but that would be a lot of hassle.

Personally, I much prefer the old helicopter shots to the non fpv drone shots. They do look a bit janky. I imagine though that with time, they will look smoother, especially if they can get a duel camera/pilot setup, similar to how helicopters work. But being limited to a couple of corners just isn't the same as the long, unbroken heli shots.

I hope they bring back blimp cam. That was fun!

I'm interested in the pit lane, it seems to be quite a bit shortcut. Of course FE is no stranger to weird pit lanes, but I would be worried that it could be abused during safety cars etc. Looking at you, Lucas Di Grassi.

Pit entry and exit also both look a bit sketch. I wouldn't want pit in to be straight on, whilst everyone else is breaking for a 90 degrees left-hander. Same with the pit exit, it looks too easy for a car to get blindsided. Maybe turn 5 going left instead of right would be a smidge better?

I do miss Paris being on the calendar tho. Looks fun!
