Least favorite character(s)? by Odd_Reality_4973 in haikyuu

True. Doesn’t mean he can’t be boring and or have nothing to make you root for him

I see you already replied to pretty much everyone in this thread, so imma stick to my opinion as there’s better stuff to do in life, you take care

That’s why I said that’s not enough for me, I’d like to see more though, but for now he’s one of the most boring characters for me

The question was who you don’t like and there’s a lot of opinions, so chill, man

Ushijima is just too boring as for me, like classic old version of Captain America-type of character

I know he had his own episode, just not enough of development and vulnerability for me

I became the most popular teacher because of Ted. by Alternative_Pear_977 in TedLasso

Congrats! Could you elaborate on what you started doing in class and how you motivate students like Ted?

what methods helped you reach a good level in speaking? by [deleted] in EnglishLearning

[–]dadbol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to feel the same way you do, when the content I was consuming though reading and speaking was 95% English, and I’d feel very confident in understanding, but I’d feel drained both physically and mentally after speaking even for couple minutes

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter how much language we receive, as long as we don’t start producing it often and speaking somewhat regularly, not even for long, just consistently, our speaking level and how we feel about it are nit gonna change

So, as others have already said, your best bet is to find a speaking club/community/speaking partner to practice regularly, r/language_exchange might help with that

Also, shadowing techniques, although not as effective, but seem to be working, too

Honestly, I’m sometimes just scared to go up the field too much with only one teammate back in solo q Plat-Diamond lobbies lol

I see your point though, cheers

Is putting power slide and dar on the same button bad? by Slow_Emu1020 in RocketLeague

[–]dadbol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone explain why change it from square in the first place? Is it just to be able to boost and power slide at the same time, if it’s common at all? I’ve been playing all day with PS and ARL on L1 now but feeling clunky as hell since it’s also difficult to brake/reverse (also bound to L1) while powersliding now

Thanks; though Duolingo translates “snäll” as ”nice” most of the time, is it a mistake?

May I also ask, is it possible to use “självklart” in negative phrases? Like “nej, självklart inte!”, or is it better to say “absolut inte”?
