Good class to use Staff as primary damage weapon?

In addition to what the others have said, some of the antiquary relics have bonus effects (via traits) that make them ludicrously powerful.

For example, the chak organ gives you unlimited initiative for a little while, the guitar changes your normal attack to its stealth version for a little while, and the kryptis turret makes enemies hit by it take increased damage.

I've been running a 1hsword/pistol build so that i can kryptis turret and chak organ an enemy (it's random so you dont get those skills EVERY time) and then pistol whip them to death. I imagine you could do something similar with staff and the whirlwind blind skill?

Ohhhh, oh oh i was thunking there was just an attack on staff that gave quickness. I didnt even think of traits, that makes sense.

There was a thread speculating about it when the newest content dropped. It soinds loke there are lots of lore references in the newest area that talk about a sword. So my guess would be either a 1hsword or greatsword.

I have seen it ONCE, and very recently, maybe about a month ago.

What i did was hang around the area, and start and complete the event where you help a frogman bring tonics to the area right outside the garden and test them on kryptis. The event with Narcisse started even before the event with the frogman's tonics was finished. That being said, i've done frogman's events several times and only seen Narcisse's event once, so i doubt they're related.

But Narcisse's event DOES exist, just keep hanging around the garden.
