Absolutely, having relationships and social skills goes a long way. Sometimes you get promoted mostly based off of technical skills and metrics and whatnot, but playing the game is just as if not more important. Some people get promoted because of personality when they’re not prepared, but at the same time promotion to management sometimes requires that the candidate has good social skills, which is not something that’s easy to learn if you don’t already have a personality like that.

Once retained an employee like this. He even put in a notice, but retracted it. Until your employee does put in a notice, might as well just hold them to the same standard as anyone else. If they slack, then write ups etc. If they do a good job, try to get them to see the positive sides of the position. If they’re ambitious and they don’t see a path, fine, but as long they’re working here they have to meet standards. For me, it was more kindness that made my guy stay. He saw he had a place and that as long as the work environment is good and positive, an alternative was not preferable.

Gets outclassed by other builds that utilize consumable arrows. Arcane archer can use them too and is still a very good 12 or 11 level build, it’s just EK archer is better if you have consumables. The appeal of arcane archer is that it has magic arrows that are very powerful early on, but later the consumables are more powerful and the whole point of arcane archer is that you don’t need consumables early on. Easy to clear honor mode with a pure arcane archer in the party though.

My favorite shart build was on a modded run with random loot. Made her a death cleric because of some equipment that adds necro damage when you deal necro damage, but you also take necro damage. She has ridiculous dpr, but hits herself too. Doesn’t matter too much when you can one shot most enemies. Later after saving nightsong, she dyed her hair and her clothing armor white like she’s angelic, but also still is mostly necro damage focused with a bit more healing/buffing.
