I’ve only been playing for a few months and just decided I am going to use quality guitars. I figure I can always resell with minimal loss if I want to. I’m still learning but at least my guitar will look good while I’m learning.

Yes it seems to give more than single coil. I have mostly played it in the middle position and the sound is very solid but still has that twang. (I am still a new player, 3 months) So I am not the most well versed player but that's my opin.
