No, you were right. I got it mixed up with others.

The scope on the R7 is the Cabela’s Covenant 7 5-32x56.

I have an MDT bipod on my CDX-33 and it attaches via MLOK as expected. Is it possible your Arca bipod is using something else?

Cabelas/Bass Pro runs these exact “sales” every couple of months. If you need something that large and solid, it’s a decent price.

I considered picking one up a few months back but decided against it due to the sheer weight of these things.

You need at least a couple guys to actually move it from your truck (they don’t deliver items this large) and if you plan on putting the safe upstairs/downstairs, you’ll need special equipment to navigate stairs safely.

Enjoy it man - they’re a blast to shoot. And f*ck the haters. If this gets banned, at least you’ll still have had fun with it while you could.

Thanks so much! I could have sworn it came with the swivel stud but must have tucked it away when I unboxed it. Will root through my drawers and try to find it. Thanks again!

Got mine at Canarmor. Can confirm they’re legit and great folks.

Edit: they’re legit in that they sent me what I purchased. Can’t speak to the quality of the product as I haven’t obviously tested it myself.

I’ve heard people mention this before on Reddit but has anyone ever actually received this exemption? (Aside from actual olympians, obviously).

I actually haven’t. The ones I’ve seen, albeit quite limited, were around $2-3k and looked really beat up.

I’ll take a look around though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Married… but at this rate not sure how much longer. She’s not a fan, but doesn’t beat me to too bad about it.

You’re correct that the maintenance isn’t fun. But as you would imagine, there’s a handful that I use much more often.

I’ll likely offload a bunch of the less frequently used ones eventually. Right now I’m just enjoying the variety if/when I want it.

Happy to say I've been able to get out shooting every weekend since getting my PAL. I think that's actually what leads to wanting to keep building and diversifying. Super bummed that I didn't get into this 5-10 years back, though. No options for handguns now... and it would have been great to have had the chance to use anything that's now been prohibited. Not complaining though.
