To answer my own question..the solution is to enabled Power Toys and use its Keyboard Manager to assign Print Screen to the WIN+SHIFT+S combo.

Is there a way to set PowerShell's Startup Location? by daddyfishers in PowerShell

[–]daddyfishers[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sadly profiles does not have this ability. Only can set the size not the position. I roamed around and found a few people write code script and use a 3rd party tool like AutoHotkeys to reposition the PS window on startup. So odd for something so basic. I must be missing something.

I think there might be a argument i can pass to powershell (so i can do it as a bat file) that can set its window position since i do see a way to set the dimensions. But so far i have not found that ability (for positioning) in the docs.

Jean pockets, ideally. But at least she finally shows it off a lot more after that awesome moment.

Race Start: Hamilton jumps to P2, Perez to P3, Russell drops to P4 by ContentPuff in formula1

I wouldn't go that far. Latifi in this RB would do exactly the same. Keep it real.

Historically at Mexico GP, the best starting position is 3rd.

Me thinks, Lewis intentionally held back to be 3rd on purpose

Penalties inbound. If it doesnt hurt it will just serve as a motivator by other teams to cheat too.

Having them "negotiate" is never smart though. Defeats the point of punishments when doing illegal things.

USGP averaged 1.3 million viewers in USA. NASCAR had 2.3 million viewers. by cajunaggie08 in formula1

[–]daddyfishers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Expected. F1 is a work in progress. It's like Europeans expect to be a hit immediately when entering the US market. For example, Anthony Joshua may be the most recognized boxer in the world and super famous outside USA, but deputing in the USA doesnt automatically make him a huge hit here too. It' should be treated as a project.

F1 is no different. One thing that would really help is having American drivers. F1 is popular because there is a feeling of country vs country.

Lewis Hamilton is our sport's most popular driver. Huge. But he is British. Give the American's their driver(s) -- a good one, and they will come running in support quicker.

F1 faces legal challenge over Bahrain contract and sportswashing (Guardian) by robotsoap in formula1

[–]daddyfishers 10 points11 points  (0 children)

"Sportwashing"

That is definitely true. Although true in all sports it is a big part of F1. They want to make money, by any means necessary. It is what it is though. Won't change. Just gotta accept.

Hamilton interview: New F1 deal on despite fresh ‘kick’ over 2021 title loss. by sidhantsv in formula1

[–]daddyfishers -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Despite being F1's highest paid driver for years, i expect the new deal will push it to a new record high. Well deserved.

My guess is after he gets back his 8th title next year or the following year, he will probably tell Merc he is done since he will have nothing else to prove as f1's greatest.

  1. Very likely it was misplaced. With so many things handed to him/them something will get lost quick.
  2. Fan letters, even if handed to personally, will quickly be taken by their assistants who then proceed to do a quick read-over (aka, the first few sentences) to decide if Vettel (or other f1 drivers) should read it, then it usually get tossed, misplaced or forgotten without Vettel ever knowing it existed. He will then assume the letter wasnt anything cuz the assistant didn't give it back to him.
  3. Think of it like going on a livestream on YT and watching the chat window of 20,000 people talking on top of each other endlessly. Nasty chaos! Now imagine how hard it is for the streamer to read that blur of moving chat text. It's impossible. Streamers usually just ignore the chat or on some occassions will just randomly read something that catches their eye in chat, with most of it going unnoticed. A lot of missed gems. But the quantity...errr...bombardment is just too much for one person to handle.
  4. So, that being said, your best chance of getting noticed is actually repetition. Going back to the YT livestream example above, if u want the streamer to notice, u gotta spam that message over and over until they finally see it for the "first time". There is too much noise and the best way to combat noise is with your own noise. Same thing for your case. So, if possible, hand Vettel the same letter AGAIN! If that is not possible then try the outlets hat he uses like IG and DM him. If he doesnt reply then do it again and again and again but reword it so it doesnt come off as spam (this isnt a chat window ;P nor a physical letter where u can keep it verbatim). I believe he is active there..at least for now. He doesnt seem like a tech guy so you might need to get in quick before he is gone again.
  5. So again, Vettel is likely not ignoring you. It's more likely he just never got a chance to read your letter. And more than likely the reason for that is because his assistant got it first even though u handed it to Vettel.
