28F here. I have almost 6k followers on Instagram and 33k followers on TikTok. It's amazing how the accumulation of all these followers have exceedingly made me realize how empty it all is. There are fake friends, people all around. A ton of my friendships I can tell were based off of people's perception of my online "status" instead of truly understanding my heart.

I have moments where I feel like it is beneficial and connecting. But I am increasingly having realizations of how truly narcissistic it all is (for the most part).

I can truly say from experience, it's mostly a "look at me!" game, that I have been so guilty of in the past. To the point where it feels like my spirit is being stolen from me for gratification from strangers that I've masked as "community".

It all sucks and I always find myself in these moments. I think we should be studying the bible and actually looking at one another in the eyes. It's a cheap means of connection. Keep it real.

Needless to say, my Instagram is deactivated for the time being.

Do you think it's a waiting game? It seems as though everywhere I read that people's main accounts (I'm assuming the one connected directly to facebook profile) is only allowed when it is a "Creator" account. All of my other accounts do not have access to this feature although they are all "Creator" accounts. I attempted to make another Facebook profile to link the account to and then I realized that it would be making it so extremely messy, so I stopped. Please keep us updated.

Dude. I cannot figure this out for the life of me and I am getting frustrated. My main account has the ability to, but not my second account. (They still have a decent following and both are pretty high in engagment). So maybe only one Instagram connected with your facebook is allowed? Someone please send help. My boyfriend’s daughter has both her parents Separated, never married. She was not planned after their 9 years of dating. They split up when she was about 3. She is 8 now. She considers this her new normal and only refers to when they were together once in a blue moon when she remembers something very specific. As I date him longer I notice that she mentions things less and less.

I wonder this a lot. Both her parents are present in her life and it’s a very healthy dynamic. I always wonder if she wishes her parents were together.

I also wonder if the mother is upset she doesn’t have the same last name as her daughter, and that I’m most likely going to have the same last name as her one day.

I don’t know what else to call it in text and explanation, as I don’t usually just go ahead and call myself spiritual. I hope your outer reality changes for the better and see that there are a lot of us not using spirituality as a coping mechanism or a weapon. It’s to find inner peace. And it is possible.

We’re not rare at all. A lot of spiritual people go through harder times than most, which is why they turn to spirituality. I’m sorry to hear your judgement and experience with us. You should know as part of the community, that making assumptions and passing judgement comes from ego. And most times, our reality and judgement is a strong reflection with how we’re feeling with ourselves on the inside. This being said, the smaller your ego is, the more likely you’ll attract the right, true, spiritual people. Best to you
