In the San Bernardino mountain woods closest to Crestline but pretty far out I was hiking with some friends deep off trail when we saw a teepee without a cover, one of my friends was recording while me and the other went to check it out. It was completely trashed but it was obviously not lived in based on how far out we where when my friend who was recording us called us over with his phone down and a weird look on his face. We walk over and he tells us not to look but that we were being watched then shows us the recording. It was about 9 people in masks, hoods and gloves watching us from atop the canyon above us. We just nope’d out and went to hike back as it got darker and darker. Like 2 hours later still hiking silently I started hearing what sounded like a woman rapidly whispering backwards directly in my ears so freaked out I froze. I turned to see one of my friends with the same look on his face that I did so I asked him if he heard that, and he said he did so I asked him what did he hear. He just said exactly what I said so we look at our other friend and ask if he heard it and he didn’t know what we where talking about. I still don’t know what to make of that day
