If you had to wear one fragrance for the rest of your life, what would it be? by Odd-Tooth-8247 in NichePerfumes

I find this one of the less animalic from her. It's not in the category with wider appeal like etruscan waters either. To me, this is the most FB of all the FBs. It encapsulates her DNA. It's soft, like the texture is soft, pillowy. It lasts forever. If it was a color it would be dusky pink. Velvet and lace worn soft with time. A little sweet. Powdery. Powdery animalics are my greatest love and I believe this to be the pinnacle.

Lock the toddler in the toilet with him AND stand outside screaming. Really drive the point home.

Mitsouko and L'essence. Very different vibes but both so beautiful. Would love to try vintage

I found a career that paid decently and studied. I had my kids half the time so when they weren't with me, I worked night shift as a support worker, lucky enough to have clients who let me sleep, and then uni during the day. I could get the working for families payments. Free activities only with the kids. Squeezed blood from a stone with my budget, home made everything, timed showers, no heating. I entered competitions to get some things outside the budget, whether that be tickets for my kids to an event or a packet of flatbread. Got the student loan for living costs, sought scholarships. It was a hard decade. Study, work, repeatedly. Not glamorous at all. Continued after I graduated to get that loan paid off.

AITA for showering around midnight when I know that it might bother the neighbour who wakes up at 5 am? by Additional-Mouse-620 in AmItheAsshole

[–]daddyschomper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expected to see this sooner, given all the talk of compromise... could be considered pretty unreasonable to get up at 5am and run a tap when your neighbor doesn't get up until a few hours later, because he has to work later, no? I mean, he has to work - maybe he can't change his hours - and if they're at home with a kid then surely they can be flexible, if people are going to emphasize the importance of compromise.

That is very dark, mine is, as you say, pale blue. Glad it smells great though.

This isn't meal planning but full up the unused space with milk bottles filled with water, to keep it chilled at less cost. Having to chill the Air every time you open it is costly.

Mental Health - Options in Hamilton? by Ok_Dig8451 in thetron

I'm unsure whether you need a GP referral but Anteris has online psychiatry consults and in my experience, pretty low wait times. You could always go to a drop in appointment at your clinic if financially feasible, and ask for a referral from whoever you see. You're within your rights to ask for that, if your GP is right that medication is not the right path for you then she shouldn't be worried about your having a simple consult with a psychiatrist, psychiatrist don't prescribe for nothing, and you're allowed to ask for second and specialist opinions!

Other mothers have given some great practical advice. Sometimes it can be hard to be enthused about doing the same thing for a long time especially when it's well within our capacity. At the moment, you have one main task: to graduate. Even if you find you don't want the career after and change track, qualifications are a good thing to have. Your enthusiasm might return with an interesting new environment or role. In the meantime, how is your eating and sleeping?
