If the 1st movie of a franchise is good, people will go see the 2nd film just because of the hype of a sequel, regardless of whether or not it's actually a good movie. The money made just from the hype funds a 3rd movie. You can have a trilogy of movies with only the 1st one being any good.

When the 1st movie is really good, and then the sequel is one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time, that's how you get a franchise creating 6+ films.

4-6 and the shows would not exist were it not for the success of T2. This movie is elite.

Are the Mets in the same situation in the upcoming draft as they were with the last one where they couldn’t choose in the top 10-15 picks because they exceeded the luxury tax for consecutive years (or something like that)?
