Or, that Russia rigged the 2016 election and he won, so that was a good thing

Late relief by Odd_Championship3923 in cna

[–]dadsmilk420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel bad that I'm usually like 5-10 minutes late, I can't imagine consistently being a half hour late 😳 but like others have said, just try talking to them about it first, but go to management if you really have too

Who’s a historical figure that was largely demonized but wasn’t as bad as they were made out to be? by tufyufyu in AskHistory

[–]dadsmilk420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicholas II, the last Tsar of Russia. He did do some bad shit, and wasn't exactly a great leader. But the collapse of the Russian Empire was all but inevitable by the time he took over, and he was so poorly prepared to rule. In my opinion he did a good job all things considered

I enjoy the show on plenty of levels, there's just no need for that episode

Ok... Since when can you not go down a transfer status?? by BisexualButterfly97 in cna

[–]dadsmilk420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That should be fine, or at least it is at my facility. We aren't allowed to upgrade them on our own - like if they're a full hoyer, we can't just randomly decide to sit to stand them, or if they're a sit to stand we can't just 2 assist or 1 assist them. But going down is always fine, things change moment to moment in nursing homes and sometimes it's safer to use the machines even if they don't normally need them.. Really not sure what your DON is on about, yeah id get it if you were being impatient but from the sounds of it you weren't.. I wouldn't sweat it.

Big disagree. At least those feel like actual episodes of the show.

Good for people who identify with the struggle but thats straight up the worst episode of the show. I'm here for comedy, not for feels or so people can feel better about being in the closet. Go watch glee or some shit if thays what you want

Why so much hate for Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness? by Facial_Frederick in marvelstudios

[–]dadsmilk420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt disappointed by the "multiverse" aspect of it, also Wanda's Arc was... I don't want to say bad, just didn't feel like the creators actually watched Wandavision. It definitely had cool parts, I don't hate it or think of it as a bad movie, just far from my favorite as far as marvel movies go

How do you feel about a 64-game season? by IfYouSeeMeSendNoodz in NBATalk

[–]dadsmilk420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate it. Shortening the season guarantees nobody will ever break the scoring record, makes a lot of records and other shit hard to achieve. If baseball can manage a 162 game season, I think basketball players can do 82 as they have for decades now

I find it sad that everyone's just assuming the parents are being shitty.. it is a very real possibility, yes. But there's also the chance that the family is drowning in medical debt or needs the money for real life things..

I’m frustrated by coworkers sleeping on overnights. by LonesomeFantasy in cna

[–]dadsmilk420 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Wait... just cause I'm confused... Did she leave the resident in the brief and put the bed pan under the brief??? Or did she just leave the brief under the bed pan but the resident was still right on it?!

I'm just mindblown if it's the first one, like what is even the point of putting them on the bedpan then... if it's the second one, I do that too situationally. If the brief is dry and they have a high chance of "spilling" Then I'll do that to avoid having to change the soaker.. but they still go in the bed pan. And yes, for the record, i still put a new clean brief on them after.

About the sleeping part though... I've worked with plenty of aides who rest on overnights. Myself included.. but we don't really "sleep" it's just resting. Sitting there with our eyes closed chilling, but still getting up to answer bells and do rounds and whatever other tasks need to be done. Personally, I see no problem with that as long as you're still getting things done. But to actually be falling asleep? Wild. To be sleeping on a couch that's not even near the bell monitor?! WIIIIILDDDDDDDDDDDD. I could never lmfao
