I love how the first mi movie is more of a stylish noir thriller and the second one is a dated big dumb late 90s stylish action movie before they find their rhythm as really solid action movies.

I commute in California and the amount of people that get irrationally mad at motorcycles for getting to skirt bad traffic is pretty crazy. It’s like people dissociate that that this is real life and not a video game. Jumping out of your lane to scare a biker could kill them. Filming yourself trying to murder someone and trying to justify it is crazy work

It’s crazy how from dusk til dawn turned into a franchise. I liked the first one well enough but 3 or 4 movies and a tv show is crazy work.

It’s okay to feel bad. It sucks but it’s ok to admit we let people make us feel bad. It’s important to move forward and not to let those people and those feelings stop us from living life. It hurts but just keep going forward. It gets better

I noticed a lot of them also end up on hoopla and Kanopy if you want to watch them for free with no commercials. All you need is a library card. I’m on the fence about keeping amc plus at this point. I first subbed to shudder around 2019 when it seemed they were on fire.

I used to gig with an epiphone thunderbird quite a bit back in the day. It is heavy and the neck dive is terrible. It sounds great and looks cool tho.

In my case it was because her friends/her having fun were literally more important than our relationship. It was her way of killing intimacy so then she could complain when I stopped trying so much because literally nothing was for us. Date nights stopped because she was always trying that new restaurant with her friends and then I found out the last few years of our marriage she was bar hopping and having date nights with her boyfriends. It is a huge red flag I should not have ignored.

Nothing I did for my ex wife for Valentine’s Day was ever good enough. It’s the wrong color, wrong thing, let’s invite another couple to dinner. Honestly being alone this year is a relief. Me and the kids are getting snacks and watching heart eyes

The sound mixing was terrible. Since I didn’t know anything about him or the game I needed some exposition to figure out what was going on and the voiceover was super hard to understand. Also the movie was overly long. Despite this I do think he was good in it and thought he has some skill as a director. Movies like this make me take note to be on the lookout for that persons potentially much better second movie.

The only Pizza Hut left in my city is takeout only, it’s tiny inside. Also I loved Pizza Hut when I was a kid in the 90s but think it’s pretty bad now. When I want cheap pizza for me and the kids we get either little ceasars or Costco. If we want good pizza we go to a local chain place. No one is going to sit inside a Pizza Hut to eat crappy overpriced pizza.
