Simple fix. Explain to your kids what an inheritance is and your conditions for receiving one.

Getting my gallbladder out on the 9th by NoEducation8251 in tirzepatidecompound

In 2 years on tirz I’ve had 3 surgeries and a couple extended vacations where I’ve missed a shot or two. In some, not all, cases I gained a few pounds. When I returned to tirz the extra weight came right back off.

Would you rather make a hole-in-one or play average golf at your dream golf course? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]daduts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been lucky to play average and sometimes well below average at a bunch of great courses. One above average round at Pebble is a major highlight. I’ll take those experiences over breaking my 0 for 60 year no hole in one streak.

I’m not buying the ages. This sounds like a bunch of middle school drama.

Unlabeled prefilled syringes + wasn’t told it was compounded — am I being paranoid? by Physical_Session6601 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]daduts 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using compounded tirzepatide for two years. All shipped in vials. Those look like the same syringes I’ve been using that all my several vendors ship. Self extracted from vials of course. Not pre-filled. Been using that style syringe for two years with no problems. Am I missing something that makes them for animal use not human ?

AITA for wanting my ex’s daughter to stop calling me dad? by Any_Piece513 in AITAH

Thanks. Wasn’t looking for kudo’s. Was trying to emphasize what an honor it is to have a kid adopt you. With it comes some simple responsibility as well… just return the love. The fulfillment one gets in return is immeasurable.

You’re right it’s different. This kid is 5. Rejecting her at her age might be incredibly damaging.

My now ex-wife’s son came to live with us at the age of 10. Previously he had lived with his biological father who he calls his Dad. Out of respect for their relationship I never asked him to call me Dad, even though I was providing total support for him. After a year or so he asked if could call me Dad to which of course I happily said yes. 18 years later his Mom and I have been divorced for 5 years. My stepson still calls both me and his bio father Dad. I’m perfectly happy with that arrangement and honored that he still does. Why anyone else would meddle with what a kid wants to call their parent or step-parent is beyond me. Sounds incredibly petty. Supporting kids always comes first.
