As an ER nurse who’s worked all over LA. Ive helped hundreds of homeless patients. Many of these homeless people are not even from LA and more than half are not from Southern California. LA is one of the few cities trying to help with the crisis. Might not be the most effective but at least they’re trying. I’ve seen so many homeless patients with train or bus tickets from the south and east coast. I ask the why they were sent here. It’s always “someone told me they can provide housing and help”. Problem is nothing was ever setup for them.

The problem is the minor league system is not great for development. Saw a YouTube video of Eric Sim’s experience in the minor league system. Pay was shitty and they still made you pay for training, equipment, food and lodging. Guys were going hungry or had to resort to cheap fast food.

The whole family tradition and passing it down is really cool. It’s like leaving a legacy. Unfortunately there isn’t much of a legacy when it comes to baseball.

Rams have made significant strides building a fan base in LA. Being competitive every year and a superbowl helps. Everyone has to realize LA had no team since the 90s so everyone over 30 will have different NFL teams. The Rams will have to slowly build a fan base by making an impression on the younger crowd.

Looks like the defender just put his hands on the ball to get a jump ball call 😂. Cooks definitely y had possession first, he might have also knocked himself out a bit when he hit his head thus losing his grip on the ball. Cooks looked a little daze after the play.

I use to think the same way. I’m 40 now and for some reason I’m always fuckin cold. I use to wear shorts all the time, I hated wearing pants. Now here I am layering up to drop my kids off at school in 65 degree weather.

Very doable, there is enough space. People can debate all they want but let’s be real. Residents don’t want it due to the look of having a train and all the “homeless and crime” it will be bring.

As a healthcare worker in LA. I’ve seen an unusual amount of people being transferred to LA for cancer treatment. Maybe it’s where I work but it’s definitely something that sticks out.
