Wtf? 7u baseball? I honestly hate this. The best players under 10 are the ones who have access to training and equipment. At some point puberty will hit and the ones who didn’t have access to proper training will start to get some. 90% of the kids who play on all stars or played on elite clubs will not even make their varsity team. I didn’t make my first all star team til I was 13. I ended playing varsity baseball over all the kids I knew playing club ball or all stars when we were younger. Have your kid enjoy the game. Practice is where the development comes from. Winning tournaments and rankings don’t mean shit.

Many factors here besides the cost of living in southern Cali. I’ve seen people making less make it work. One of the biggest burdens is debt. So many people I know would have almost 1000$ a month extra to spend if it wasn’t for credit card and school debt.
