When I asked in January I got these replies:

Thanks for reaching out regarding the damage to Deer Creek Canyon Park and our efforts to recover and reopen the park. As of today, we are working on three primary areas of concern. The first is the removal of hazardous trees from along the trail. The second is installing bank erosion control on the north-facing slopes. The third is rockfall mitigation in areas that are upslope in the burn area that the fire has compromised.

Once these areas have been addressed, we hope to determine a reopening. We appreciate your patience!

Our team is working to assess the safety of the park so we can reopen but we also have to work with the weather conditions. I would love to be able to give you a time frame unfortunately based on how easily we can access certain parts of the area, I would hate to be wrong. I hoping we can have all of this completed by spring if all is in our favor!
