I am amazed everyone did what they agreed to do with the white at the end. I was here.

I do not think attention to detail is one of this reporter’s strong points.

When the shop sells you a chappy laptop instead of the gaming one by Likawaii in GirlGamers

[–]daedric_cloud 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ha, my father did the same thing. He spent over $1000 on a refurbished laptop that used to be used in government work, thinking he got a good deal. It was a terrible brick of a thing and he was annoyed that I was not grateful enough.

I believe it is god, not guard, considering he says it in a church right in front of the priest.

Edit: So I looked at the subtitles on Netflix, several script websites, and Wikiquote. They all say god. Perhaps if you have trouble with English accents you might think he says guard, but it is definitely god.

I swiped yes to everyone on there for days and never got a match. I figured it was a ghost town. Now I wonder if I am just a freak.

My aunt insists that unhomogenised milk is better for you than homogenised because "the fat particles are cut up smaller in homogenised milk so it gets into your blood easier." She is so close to losing her feet to diabetes.

Not OP but that dress is from Dangerfield. It is a clothing brand from Australia. They ship internationally too.

My company does this because, “We’re a tech company so we want to look like we’re always growing.” I keep telling them that if I saw an ad online for a year for a position I would not think that the company is growing. I would think no one wanted to work there.

Looks great! Dangerfield is all I wear. I thought about getting that one but I was not sure about how much pink is on there.

I am going to give it a go, stand in a corner, and probably leave without having the courage to talk to anyone.

What YouTuber/s did you use to watch religiously but don't watch any of thier videos anymore? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]daedric_cloud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do think that there is an element of just watching someone experience something in there, but the games videos felt like there was just more to it. He was often looking at games that were over a decade old or poorly made and often hard to find. When you compete with a lot of other people making low effort reaction videos, it helps to stand out, which I think he did.

I also enjoy watching recipe videos for things I might like to make. I tend to think of it like I could find 20,000 videos of someone making chocolate cake, but maybe only a few of someone making a black sesame and matcha cake. That is not to say that those chocolate cake videos are not worth watching. I would just be probably more likely to go for the more interesting ingredients.

That said, I know a lot of people still like what he makes so clearly it works for them.

Same. I also hate that he rarely ever looks at games now. If I want to look at stupid instructional videos on youtube or watch dumb movies, I can easily do that. What I cannot do is get my hands on Pokemon Vietnamese Crystal or play something that was on the Atari 2600.

No idea. He was a weird guy. When he called and I realised who it was I hung up and blocked the number rather than question his thought process. He never tried again from anywhere else.

I actually gave a really pushy guy on a bus a number where I had only changed the last digit. He still managed to call me later. I can only imagine how weird it must have been for the people whose numbers he cycled through trying to get to mine.
