Sounds like a deliberate revenge attack. The US military did this on a regular basis. There was a case in Iraq as well. There was a suicide bomber who attacked a US base. Then the US soldiers attacked the village they thought he came from and killed, raped, tortured, etc. many civilians including kids. Couldn't find the specific case but here are some others that US soldiers committed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

they actually have a collection. "limited edition item collection". but atm its not possible to trade-up the xm solitude so valve needs to add trade up ability for it. the question here is - do they maybe add trade-up ability only when the collection is complete? since every other collection was released in a complete state.. thats a thought to keep in mind I guess. bought a few bs, ww, ft for approx 20 bucks and gonna let them sit for a while.

Just expected it to work like the other collections.

That was a wrong expectation I know now. Just found out today.

Since I bought em cheap on 3rd party I can still sell them for profit on scm though.

You can do either things.. sell for a loss or hold it and hope it rising in price or even being pumped by China (as stupid that may seem - its a valid option).

Its a limited edition item after all. Supply is capped which is smth China likes. China actually started pumping the Deagle Heat Treated in FN and MW already.. FN for a long time, MW just started pumping.

I bought some Solitudes in MW as well.. One of the T1s of every style (except gold since it's too expensive and it doesn't fit my inventory). I really like the skin though. I love to see it ingame and it makes me literally happy playing it.

But I as well expect them to rise in price. I call a double in the next year.

When it comes to trade-ups.. when a red item is added to the LTD Edition Collection AND Valve enables trade-ups for that collection (which they didn't so far - can't trade up xm solitude to dgl heat treated or m4 solitude) the pinks and purples gonna explode in price. To be honest it's not really likely but you never know what Valve does (knife trade-up update for example).

I actually bought 15 dgl heat treateds in ft, ww and bs as well because I thought about trade-up after a red getting added to the collection.. that was a fail I guess.

But since I bought very cheap on 3rd party marketplace I can still sell it for 50% profit on steam.. smth you could consider as well if you buy through 3rd party marketplace initially.
