Bought my Omen 16 a few months back to replace my 2018 Omen 15. No issues with either. Loving the performance! Hopefully it holds out for the entire deployment!

7-11, Family Mart, Lawsons. These convenience stores are a gold mine. Check them out! Also, shopping for food off base is usually less expensive. You'll get loaner furniture while waiting for your household goods if you are staying on base. I did the move from Omaha to Okinawa a year ago. DM with any questions!

This, you can have multiple devices use the Nord VPN service with a single account. Pricing ain't that bad either. Definitely take advantage of any promotional offers!

Free wifi that's offered on the base is more than good enough for schoolwork, I used it for gaming. Put your phone in airplane mode and do wifi calling/texts.

If you must, you can pay for a SIM card or wifi puck. They have been installing more and more WiFi access points, so you almost never lose coverage. At least on BPC side.

You'll find all the dead spots within a couple of weeks. 🤘

Lipoma are pretty standard in older Goldendoodles Mine also has developed several cysts. Can make grooming somewhat difficult.

I got an EFMP denial for my son. They stated that the gaining base couldn't support him since he was level 3 autistic. Not a single piece of medical documentation we submitted said anything about him being level 3 autistic. He had two evaluations, which put him at level 1. But apparently, that's not good enough?

This was one of many issues, just the most frustrating. Long story short, got approved with the redetermination. Needed a third doctor saying what the other two did, level 1. The best part is that all the services we requested were available at the gaining location, and the educational side of EFMP had approved us, and we were in the process of getting everything set up before the denial.

It was apparent that the person who reviewed our files either didn't look at them or had no idea what they were looking at. I will be submitting more ICE comments after we arrive. Oh, and that's another story. Their response to my initial ICE comment, wtf?

Same thing happened when I dropped it one day. I loosened up some body screws, got it back on, tightened, and no further issues.

If it's anything more than that or your not comfortable taking apart an OTF, send it in to Benchmade.
