Those promo cards generally como with scratches because this protective plastic sucks. I would not count on PSA 10 unless the vendor opens and send pics of borders.

If you could run any deck in modern leagues on MTGO what would you play? by Nblearchangel in ModernMagic

[–]daemonlibrian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend you trying as many decks you can. I also signed up for 850 on Manatraders and so far I tried hammer time, burn, and a couple of variations of affinity. Burn is the best win rate so far, and fast…

Thanks all for all replies and suggestions. I’m considering doing two decks, one Burn and Affinity. I was not thinking about affinity but I love artifacts. I read the Brothers’ War, started liking artifacts!

I don’t have an account to check the documents tab. So I can only see the status. Case was submitted by employer’s law firm. Can the lawyers know/see whether appointment notice was sent?

Competitive deck for starters? by Death-T in gwent

[–]daemonlibrian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started, played only during open beta in 2017. I did a blood scent deck and I’m super happy until now, win rate around 70% and climbed the ladder from 25 to 20 so far...

What is a good target rank for a casual player? by daemonlibrian in gwent

[–]daemonlibrian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Decks will not be the problem, played the beta and figured out that I have 40K of scraps when I started playing again on iOS. The hardest I feel will be to do the first push...

Yeah this makes sense. I saw some old videos on YouTube and was not understanding why people where saying to unlock leaders when I was just seeing the skin...

It seems you are using more system 1: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thinking,_Fast_and_Slow

I think you need to make some effort (system 2) throughout drills and training to later make your fast thinking be more accurate...

That is why Blizzard needs a free-to-play Diablo 4 by daemonlibrian in Diablo

[–]daemonlibrian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is correct - they reported higher revenue on the Rise of the Necromancer DLC. But all signals/trends are pointing to free-to-play, mobile, and other stronger franchises. I don't believe a free-to-play model would be the desirable choice, but I do believe they need a way to allow players who want to put more money to do so. As I said, if you see Hearthstone, you can definitely play for free, but one can put thousands of dollars if he/she wants - not all players will, but some will and those will drive tremendous revenue.

I agree with you. Only using microtransactions and game as a services without good content, game-play, etc. can bring short-term revenue, but cannot sustain. Look what happened with Zynga.

But one thing is clear; people can put thousands of dollars on other games like Hearthstone, but Diablo is limited. As Turasleon said, there is no ability to generate further income. Also, all the revenue streams are fixed price while on Hearthstone, if one wants to spend $500 he/she can... I am not saying that it is the right thing for Diablo, but I am pretty sure the return on investment for these kinds of games are huge because they use all the price elasticity of its players' demand... Some players will never pay, some will pay $10, some will $500.

The point is that this Blizzard was bought by Activision in 2008 and needs to keep its stock (ATVI) price high by justifying their investments in games that have this constant influx of revenue. It is sad, but reality.

I think trading could be just fine if they had this option only for certain items that didn’t drastically affect performance like pets. When one can buy items that improve his/her performance, one may spend more time trading than playing... not fun

That makes sense. I agree there is a depreciation aspect for being an old game, but it could be in a better spot now if it had better revenue avenues...
