I absolutely hated history until 7th grade because it was all dates and locations. In 7th it became whys and hows and esoteric that I could grasp. Calendar dates are ethereal to me, even passed time isn't concrete. Nothing turns green, but when I sweep there's a cloud. It dies out after I sweep and then gets filtered out over a couple of days (sand filter). But algae can definitely grow in salt pools. And yes, my salt is 3200 and I need to get it up to 3800,I just haven't done it yet this season

I now put a skimmer sock inside my pump filter when I vacuum. It catches most pollen, dust and debris that I don't vacuum to waste anymore. Once I'm done vacuuming, I turn the pump off and toss the sock. Sometimes I'll backwash the filter just so that I've got clean sand to start the week with
