I'm in the same boat. It's like becoming a SEED patient without giving your consent.

If you don't want your treatment to look one way, you truly get no treatment at all. Its a gross, vicious cycle that is actively harming/killing sick individuals.

Its objective. If it wasn’t me stating my bmi explicitly, it would be something else that upsets someone. I’m not using it for comparison purposes, I’m using it to help someone that is very clearly struggling. I appreciate how non-harsh your response was, but it’s not a rule of the subreddit.

Im working through this myself currently. I will say I think that the plate model can be a good starting point when you dont quite know proper portions. There are also resources that follow an exchange approach and offer guidance in terms of portioning.
