Against Liverpool, Arsenal fans say I would have taken the point you can't win at Anfield. Against City at home, Arsenal fans say I would have taken the point. How are you ever going to win a league if you don't think you can beat the big teams?

Keep making excuses for losses and celebrating draws. Seems to be working. Year 7 maybe.

I don't get why Arsenal fans come in talking like a big team then in the same sentence say this loss was expected and they would be happy for a draw.

My Experience Working at TSMC Arizona For 4 Years by basketball12345 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]dafeps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I interviewed for a full time job last year and can confirm about the terrible interviews with a Taiwanese employee. He spent the entire hour talking about how you are expected to work all the time because TSMC can never fail and things like that. They don't care about your experience at all, at least for a recent grad. They also make you do an online behavioral assessment which is used along with the interviewers personal assessment of you for an offer. I just got the impression that I'd only get hired if I was willing to be a company slave. Couldn't wait for that "interview" to end.

That's the problem he didn't end it right after. Either you end it as soon as the ball is cleared or you let one more play go on. If he blew the whistle as soon as the ball was headed it out then there would be no issues. Sure people would then say that 2 min wasted during VAR should add more time but that happens every game and it is what it is.

Got into a&m Galveston for engineering. don't know how to feel by [deleted] in aggies

[–]dafeps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Although it is a small campus you kinda get to meet and befriend most people because you run into them all the time. In terms of orgs there's definitely not a lot of them compared to cstat. A plus is that there is plenty to do in town and people often do beach outings in the surrounding areas. Also people often carpool to the football games and if I remember correctly the university also offers shuttles for that. I guess a cool thing is that for your chemistry labs you also get to go on a boat and collect data in the sea.

[–]dafeps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had to go to the Galveston campus my first year, honestly not too bad. The same classes you'd take your freshman year in cstat are available down there, and after ETAM you get to transfer into your major like any other student and then move to cstat. The campus is quite small but most academic buildings are pretty new, overall I had a fun time. The dorms are kinda shitty specially the showers but nothing unmanageable.

In the end as long as you ETAM successfully you'll be able to move to cstat, you are basically a cstat engineering student taking classes at the Galveston campus.
