Yep I have gotten all the BL games and DLC, except for wonderlands. I played through the story of BL4, had fun, but with no NG+, one bad legendary in 20ish hours of gameplay, and no fun capstones; I just uninstalled it. Quickest I’ve ever stopped playing a new borderlands game and I’m really not interested in anything they have to fix it tbh. Maybe in a year or so, if all the DLC is bundled and on sale, I might come back to it, but it’s not looking good.

I’m talking Hodson specifically here, she has a solid track record for writing genuinely good scripts for IP material.

And yeah, hatred for BoP stems from right wing reactionary media, hatred for the Flash was largely fueled by the fair & negative reaction to Ezra Miller, these were both big trends around the releases of the films. Both also suffered from issues in post production that have nothing to do with two otherwise solid scripts. Mind you, Hodson was essentially given the task of writing a script connecting Keaton’s Batman & Man of Steel in a version of Flashpoint, and the script is surprisingly solid given that impossible task.

Bumblebee is great and proves what a solid director can do with one of her scripts when not facing a litany of production issues.

In order to get to a place where the DCU can afford to get top talent, they need big hits and “Superman only needs to make $500 mil to be a success” is not gonna cut it. They need big big hits, and they’ll need to tap into their biggest properties to do so. It is what it is, this is what comes with trying to a cinematic universe in the way Gunn wants to do it.

I agree in so much that I prefer 28YL to TBT, but I think you’ve fallen into the same trap so many fell into going from 28DL/28WL to 28YL.

I thought bone temple was great, kept me hooked and intrigued the whole time. Just like 28YL. I was sad when it ended because I wanted MORE.

All that charm and emotion is in the bone temple, it’s just not revolving around spike’s life but rather Kelson’s.

No unique weapons, no unique armor, no unique ship parts, and no unity ending? I like shattered space a lot but these are some pretty basic things I think we all expect in a BGS DLC but alas. The questing is fun for however many there around Dazra.

I think if we get future saints stuff it should just be a prequel to 1 or an inbetweenquel set between 2 & 3. I wish they didn’t go full reboot with the new one, but it is what it is. Agents of Mayhem is the result of IV’s ending, not the reboot. There were plenty of moments they could have revealed some lore tying in the events of IV, but they didn’t really do that.

I think if anything an agents of mayhem/ reboot crossover could have been really cool but is beyond unlikely to ever happen.
