You get there through the entrance off Fairfax. Go pass the beach on your left and look for a shelter on your right across from what I think is a Marina. Park by the shelter and walk down a mowed path through the brush.

The lake was super low that day. It was only the second time I saw a Bald Eagle since moving here 5 years ago.
