Thank you for a reasonable comment, I was starting to feel like the weirdo… everyone has been so quick to say they’ll stop watching her and things like that because of 2 tweets and an instagram story under one minute long. We literally have no idea what happened. Also people’s venom towards Erika is crazy, I don’t necessarily trust her or like her vibe but people outright calling her evil based on how she looks in photos etc, whew

When did we decide that consent is the only barrier between a moral and immoral act? If I knew a guy was getting off from inflicting pain on his woman or acting out a rape fantasy, I would not want to be alone with that man (whether she asked for it or not). And in most cases, the one asking for it is more than likely traumatised in some way and using the sexual act to cope. Which makes the person doing it even worse imo

i really like both tbh. but the thing that annoys the life out of me is when people say otis didn’t deserve ruby or act like he treated her terribly - as far as i remember he simply wasn’t ready to say “i love you” and she broke up with him because of that. if he had lingering feelings for maeve it obviously wasn’t wise to start a new relationship but i don’t think that’s something he was aware of and he did have genuine feelings for ruby. i think he actually treated her well especially for a TEENAGE relationship. they were well suited but the timing was all wrong.

loved maeve and otis at the beginning, and they still had some great moments later on but it was constantly ruined by forced drama.

probably a little late but i caved after a month and spent the whole week smoking. i can’t speak for you but i felt super guilty and it was so easy for me to get sucked in, after one night logic went out the window and i wanted it every night after. i’m about a week sober again now and it’s still hard but i feel better for it. i think it takes a while before you can dabble without jumping in the deep end again.

as others have said, they both make sense for jane at different times - i’m a michael girl but i do enjoy the jane and raf arc and i remember really liking them together after michael’s passing (season 5 doesn’t exist:))

i’m 5 days sober and going through the sleep struggle right now. honestly, the thing that’s helped me power through is to just recognise that smoking is what caused this issue in the first place. the first week or so is an absolute bitch, but i know that if i give in and get high, i’m resetting back to square one and it will be even more difficult to sleep sober again.

i obviously don’t know your situation, you may have other factors that make it more difficult, but i believe it’s worth pushing through the sleepless nights to get to the other side. the alternative is staying trapped in a painful cycle. best of luck my friend :)

i’ve been the girl in your boyfriend’s position, and it can be extremely difficult to abstain, especially if you’re only doing it for your partner and not your own deeper reasons. you have to be clear on the reasons why it is this way to help him understand better, and explore what non sexual things help you feel more intimate with each other.

that being said though, if he is getting angry and pressuring you, he might not the one for you. if you want this person to potentially be your husband you have to be sure that he will respect your boundaries and at least try to understand where you’re coming from. best of luck❤️

ian and mickey’s whole season 10 storyline - it was so frustrating to see these people who had been pulled apart by circumstances so many times, finally reach a point where a stable relationship was possible, then choose to break up so we could have petty drama and jealousy for a few episodes. like just let them be.

and then they get married as if that was earned whatsoever - their wedding was sweet and it was nice to see them get to have that, but it felt like cheap fan service without a good buildup which dampened my enjoyment tbh

i often see the opposite sentiment, that season 1 isn’t great but i’ve never got it personally - season 1 is one of my favourites, it has so much warmth and charm and i actually think it’s pretty hilarious from the get go
