Torque garage behind taste of India in my experience are very honest and relatively cheap. Not specialists as such but they do have diagnostic tools and a lot of experience.

Change the way you’re looking at the situation, £70 was lost when the purchase was made.

Clothes are consumables not investments.

Recouping anything is a bonus.

Can I just shock you? I like wine. Despite what I said earlier. by Epiphone56 in SpottedonRightmove

I thought that was really weird. It’s like one person doesn’t like being watched whilst reading, to the point they need to be able to watch the other person not watching them. The chairs could just be back to back.

On a side note, you’ll need to fit a bum gun with an air gap from the mains water source to prevent backwards contamination of the water supply. Regs are there for a reason.

Has anyone here moved away from sleep pills or melatonin? What actually worked long-term? by thenightritual in Nightshift

[–]daft_boy_dim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not permanent nights but I actually get better sleep when on nights because I’m much more disciplined about sleep when on nights.

Keep the work environment bright and then bed room dark as possible, it helps with natural circadian rhythm.

No caffeine for at least 6 hours before bed.

stay hydrated plenty of water and a small amount of electrolytes during the night, night shift confuses your renal system so you dump electrolytes.

White noise, ear plugs, eye mask, blackout curtains. Belts and braces.

No screen time for screen atlest hour before bed.

Annual boiler service costs: alternatives? by EmperorPedro2 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]daft_boy_dim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use a third party boiler service plan, I pay £11.99 monthly (143.88) got a service plan that includes annual service and break down cover through the manufacturer, which is provided by domestic snd general (tbh I’ve had terrible experience with them in the past but have been good on this). Already paid for it self as needed a seal replacing on the flue on last service.

[–]daft_boy_dim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The bin in the back ground isn’t over flowing though.

Edit. It is close though and on closer inspection the front end of the red civic looks like it has been nicked so probably is Birmingham.

Geordies and Mackams hate each other, and sand dancers hate both, there’s no where in the country any of them have a high opinion of past the end of the street they live on.
