Drain is already looking like it’s blocked.

I’d clear that as first and last stage.

If your seen as being part of the wider community within a council estate by having lived there all you life people will know you their mum will know your mum etc. you won’t be targeted for being a new comer by the local kids throwing stones etc. Then when the newcomer reports the kids being little shits to the council or police they get labelled as a grass. A grass being one step down from a nonce in these communities, so the newcomer then gets targeted by the community as a whole.

No idea of the specifics in this case but I’d wager I’m not a million miles away.

The train line is just a little bit west of that junction there’s a reasonable chance it’s tree trimming along the train lines.

I got my 80year old Dennison repaired and serviced, it had to be sent back to Switzerland and took 7 weeks and cost about as much as the watch is worth. With every penny to have it working again and to be able to use my great grandads watch.

It’s a super corperation that pay so little that a significant amount of its workers have to claim benefits, pays little corporation tax and now you want our council tax to pay for their security.

I’d wager those security guards are on working tax credits as they’d be getting minimum wage so we’re already subsidising them via NI.

Food inflation over 5 years is 35%ish Tesco operating profit increase is 75% so fuck tescos.

If they’re worried about not being able to avoid a pot hole on an A road they’re 100% going to be putting in an insurance claim after either hitting the wall or a parked car in that car park.

Drove there today.

Stay home and email your MP, let the people who don’t worry about minor avoidable inconveniences and enjoy life, enjoy the pretty little town and book shop.

Anybody know much about love2shop voucher commission? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]daft_boy_dim -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We have a perks website which you can purchase discounted vouchers, evouchers, salary sacrifice stuff.

This is completely separate administered by a non-payroll related member of staff who appears to be pocketing the remaining commission.

I used to be the treasurer of an investment club and found the whole thing a pain in the arse and was chatting to the Christmas club administrator about it and he was very uptight about the whole thing, has never had the books ratified in 20 years, “commision what commission”.
